    Just like the TV Series ER... cute, interesting, but nothing like real life. Criminals aren't concerned with laws, they aren't bound by them. In real life, there is no risk for a corrupt judge, or those that bought him off.

    • @highlorddarkstar
      @highlorddarkstar 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Oh, there is risk. Criminals aren’t concerned with the law. The corrupt very much are. They must maintain the image of the innocent. Because they are accountable to others in the system. Only when the system itself is corrupted do they have some protection, but even then they are vulnerable to having their corruption used against them by other corrupt actors.

    While the judge may well be corrupt/bought and the hearing may prove that…nothing in this scene suggests corruption/bribery. The hearing is ostensibly to determine if the plaintiff has standing to bring the case. If not, the judge must dismiss the case as he did for lack of standing.

    • @jdenameinit
      @jdenameinit หลายเดือนก่อน

      Except no evidence was brought up. The defense made a motion which should have allowed the plaintiffs to present evidence that it was in standing. The judge didn’t let them and tried to just bury the case.

The Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct, for instance, define "tribunal" as "a court, an arbitrator in a binding arbitration, or a legislative body, administrative agency, or other body acting in an adjudicative capacity.

      @@paulrodgers252 I have spent a couple of active duty tours. The 14th Amendment has nothing to do with this subject. To state that all courts are in fact military courts flies in the face of Art 1, Sec 8, Para 9, in which it is the CIVILIAN authority which establishes those tribunals inferior to the SCOTUS. As well as the fact that military courts do not have jurisdiction over civilians as a rule, except for in very specific circumstances such as outlined in the UCMJ, while civilian courts DO have jurisdiction over military personnel in matters not directly related to the military.
