Yay. Another person reading the HP books. Dumbledore didn't realize how bad they'd treat Harry when he left them with the Dursleys. He was hoping since Harry was her sister's son that Petunia's motherly instincts would take over. The reason why Lily and Hermione are witches even though they're families are muggles us extended lore. Rowling explained it later. I can't explain it right now but I'll try to remember to tell you in the next book. Ok. Now I know we're similar people. You drink Dr. Pepper. Oh yeah the movies did Ron and Ginny dirty. Especially Ginny. They made her about as interesting as watching paint dry.

If any of you are wondering, it is a bit easier to get in as a transfer student. I was rejected when i applied as a freshman and got in when I applied as a transfer student. If your grades weren't good in high school, try getting good grades for a year at another college, and then apply again. You do need 24 college credits to count as a transfer student though. In my case, I took college classes in HS and only had to go to another school for a semester. It's hard, but if you do get rejected, then just be patient.

hey! so i’m back LOL! so i’m a member of the church, and have thought about byu, but i’ve been struggling to complete seminary, and i don’t think i’ll finish. do you think i can get into byu without seminary?

Hi! I'm not LDS (I'm Catholic). I was wondering what I should do since I don't do seminary. Should I get a recommendation from my priest? Thank you!
I actually am not sure! You can call BYU admissions office and they should have an answer for you!

BYU is also for people who are not LDS, you have 2 options for the recommendation, one from your priest church or one from the bishop or your location where you are living

What you said about your friend writing an essay about Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic made me a lot less stressed about the essays, so I'm just going to write about something I'm passionate about, not something I think they'd want to hear. What did you write about for your essays and activities? I know this was a while ago, but do you also remember what you wrote down for the “ what will you contribute essay”?
hi! That is good question. For mine I wrote about how I wouldn't be the best student but I would be the student that boy doesn't have. The one that contributes my talents instead of just my brain and how I could be the person that breaks the stereotype for people that are at byu. It was something along those lines. The genuinely just want to hear what you are actually thinking and not what they want to hear. I was very honest and blunt with my essays and showed my weaknesses but also talked about my strengths and that's what they want. Honesty and showing that you actually are more then the average byu student. Let me know if you have any more questions. Good luck!

Ruby ! I’m so glad that you are taking seminary! Honestly, just make sure that you participate in class. You will be okay, again, it’s not a huge thing that you have to do. It also doesn’t mean that you will get in. But they are all little things that you can do to help😉

If u just got here from the mainland on April 2 then u are not suppose to be running around on the island of O’ahu... March 26 started a manadtory 14 day quarantine for all incoming visitors , which means U STAY IN YOUR HOTEL AND DON’T LEAVE FOR ANYTHING ..
terry pualoa my family and I got into Hawaii on March 18th, stayed in the city for one day where we stayed in our hotel the whole time and then left for the north shore in our beach house where we isolated and did not come into contact with anybody else. We got there before that 14 day thing was passed so maybe before you get upset at someone you should know the full story. We did nothing wrong, we simply stayed in our little house by the beach and then went to the beach, went on a few hikes and did not come into contact with anybody. We where respectful and kept our distance. But thank you for your concern.

Presley college is the best! I’m so sad cause I was going to do a day in the life of a BYU student but because of the virus we don’t have school so I’m trying to think of other things to do. So more videos coming soon. But college is so fun but also don’t forget to enjoy high school. High school can be some of the best years. Don’t forget to be a kid😉
I can attest grades arn’t everything I got my associates degree in high school with a 3.9 and was denied. She knows her stuff don’t get so worried about grades, focus on building your talents!
