Just a thought: I was searching for this song but couldn’t find it, whether it is on Apple Music or on Spotify. I wonder if it’s intentional or not… Like : sometimes songs gets deleted for no apparent reason but when you listen to it, it’s often about criticism or unhappiness.

She might feel powerless, abused and abandoned but still blindly trusts in the relationship. It seems like she expresses her emotions and feelings for him with deep sincerity. "Cause' I want you so much but I hate your guts". 2 times that verse in the end but she doesn't end the verse with "Oh, I hate you" as she did earlier. That may mean that she doesn't want to emphasize her hate further, or that she falls silent, or maybe she loses trust entirely, breaks up and goes her own way. Whatever it may be I totally enjoy that song!

2 years ago, I lost my aunt who raised me like her own child. she was my second mother, she never had kids of her own. I went through grief and denial longer than it was supposed to last. started getting panic attacks daily, and I feared sleeping. life became meaningless. I regretted not spending more time with her, I regretted not holding her hands as her soul departed from her body, and I regretted never calling her mom. I still do today. my ex boyfriend showed me this song, and it felt as if it was written to voice my pain, to voice what was eating me up from inside and couldn't express it. life is not been the same since you left. some kinds of pain can never be healed with time. I'm not trying to discourage myself or anyone, I promise, it's just that at this moment, that's how my brain sees things... I love you, and I let you go, may the pain I feel spare me the agony ✨
