Barrier Skip via Early Desert (theory route)
If early access to the Desert were found in ALBW, this is how speedrunners would use it to perform Barrier Skip.
Video captured from a version of the game modded to have the Desert Palace Weather Vane pre-activated, but is otherwise completely vanilla. The fog, strange lighting, and presence of the guard and gate are all a consequence of not completing the Sanctuary, which would not be necessary with this trick.

The Thief Girl Slide

Thief Girl... being useful? Turns out she can make Jail Break work in some spots where it ordinarily doesn't. Link normally has no interactions with Thief Girl while he's dashing, but she becomes interactable again when the dash is cancelled. Timing / setting things up properly let's us use her collision to give a push through the bars.
Mire-Swamp Secret Loading Zone

We've known about this SLZ for a long time, but did not have a way to successfully use it until now. The strategy is easier than expected, just slowly inch right at about that height. This enables getting to the Swamp area of Lorule from Misery Mire. The reverse isn't possible, as no matching loading zone exists to go back into Mire.

Demonstration of how to get the two chests in the Hookshot Trial of Lorule Castle without needing the Hookshot. Arrghus II hard requires the Hookshot to defeat, but doing so isn't necessary with the standard Trial's Skip (assuming the seed even has trials enabled).

Hugging the wall (apparently!) doesn't update Link's respawn position, and that lets us Sandcastle our way into the main part of 2F without having to Merge.

"Open" Lost Woods Concept

This is a demo concept for an "Open" Lost Woods in the ALBW Randomizer. The goal here is to make it possible to reach the 3 Hint Ghosts (from whom players may buy Hints with Rupees), but without the player having to sit through the very slow (and boring) "follow-the-Poes" game. All exits are made "correct", and so the player can choose any path to advance farther into the woods, or go backwards...

Sword Beams can clip slightly into walls, letting us hit this switch in Eastern Palace early. In the randomizer, this trick lets us skip a Small Key and the vanilla Big Key room to reach the Boss early.

BEFORE YOU ASK: No, I couldn't get this to work with only throwing Red Rupees. The game hangs for some reason, but by looping in the Blue Rupee throws I was able to get the entire 3000 Rupee deposit to happen in a single action. It's not as fast as people would like I'm sure, but it's definitely an improvement.

“Wtf who uses the boomerang” I use it, it’s really useful for hyrule castle and other dungeons, when I use It It stuns the enemies so I can get close to them and kill them.

The video was output to an HD TV and then recorded with a crappy laptop webcam. I'd wanted to just record the stream directly, but at the time this was the only option available to me.
You play on TV ? It seems is more fluid than on PSP.
ive tried this way so many times i lost but ill keep trying
idk ive beaten MF with the thunder surge and cure but this way seems easy

@hellsingevil1 That's just it. He's gonna use those moves at some point in his life. This battle could easily be a 7 minute of dodging battle. Its a solid strategy. And to be honest I can say the same comment you just made about any other MF strategy that has been made. There's plenty of room for screw ups in any method you use on him. A lot of ppl just hate the usage of Ice Cream cause they call it "cheap" when its clearly not cheap at all. Can't say he's the hardest boss either

I like this method. So much faster.
@hellsingevil1 Lucked out...note the times he used the Ice Cream. It was only during the attacks where MF has a long recovery. Far better than that Surge crap everyone keeps saying to use and doesn't work. The only luck part is not getting Frozen Fortune.
People say that the 3 curaga and 5 thunder surge technique is is cheep but this is honestly cheeper.
i would recomend that you also put a thunder surge or fire surge in there because of his clones

Frozen Fortune is a special Command Style that has a 20% chance of activating when the user consumes an ice cream.
Use second chance andd once more if you're having trouble,then leaf bracer.

Nah can't use it....the change is too slow for me and makes me a target. And for some reason ghost drive activated. Nice that it works for you though.

@frostmourne240 The damage cap per hit on bosses make the higher level not *quite* so important. What you need is just to get a clean finisher where most of the hits actually land and aren't guarded against, else you're right it'll hardly do any damage. In my experience you're more likely to get a lot of damage if you use it while he's either doing the X-Slash thing or while he's up in the air throwing down the rope. In any event, you need to try it more than a few times to get the timing right.
