@REDFOXBUSHCRAFT thank you so much , this resource just sparked quiet a bit of possibilities. With items I have in my basement. Thank you 👑
I couldn’t view the video till today, 47min of absolute top shelf information. I have slowly over the last decade or more actually been here 18years. I gathered up my winter kit and for various temperatures , snow conditions and sleep setups. Having been lucky to not venture out too far over the years to experience -17 to -24 over on two or three night trips. Got myself from modern gear , to loads of military surplus , to updated wool garments. Please show your toboggans that your using , Here we use more Pulk (a sled). Belated Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and yours. Greetings from Norway
Thanks very much indeed, I will be doing a video soon with toboggans and things, we make are own toboggans, a friend of mine I think has done a page on building them I will see if I can get you a link 😉 and I am really happy that you found the video useful 😀www.ice-raven.co.uk/html/building-a-toboggan.html

Dude! This took me back to packing for our 2015 trip! What an experience. I can’t wait to go back home to the Arctic!!
Can't wait! It was a fantastic experience we shared mate
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I think that you might have commented on the wrong video 😂, I have not a clue what that means 😅, if I am wrong sorry and I will try and answer,
Merry Christmas Mr Fox, what a fab video very well presented! Totally agree with you about mountain equipment clothing, its seriously good gear. I got mine off Ebay, not as warm as yours at 700 fill....yours looks amazing! My attire in the Finnish wilderness was a merino wool base layer, a rab continuum 850 fill mid layer and a rab infinity windstopper 800 fill outer layer, both jackets are goose down and it was sufficient enough but sleeping out in it is a different ballgame altogether! Great sleeping bag tips too, thankyou!
Thank you very much, that sounds like a great set up you have, rab have a lot of really good gear merry Christmas
British army arctic bag. Seagull feathers from the male cant beat it
Is that the 58 pattern
Great vid pal merry xmas
You too and thanks for watching
Told by an old soldier years ago (as a base layer) cotton kills
As baselayer cotton is useless. But in dry cold winter with no rain, only snowfall, cotton (tight weeved) is excellent as a shell garment. Is windproof and lets moisture out.
Totally @mattimatkalainen on the outside cotton works great, thanks very much for your interest
@REDFOXBUSHCRAFT I have the swedish ski blouse, same as your anorak but buttoned front. Very good when riding bicycle in winter.
Nice, it seems that the button up one's are still available, or at least more available than the over the head one's, I am thinking about making a video on making a snow smock or maybe a wax canvas one, I really like the old school gear
Merry Christmas buddy. Another great video 👍👍👍
Thanks brother 🙏 have a fantastic time both of you
Lovely poems. Cheers to you and Hannah, Rafe and George. Have a fantastic Christmas. Hope to see you soon. Lemony xxx
Thanks lemony have a wonderful Christmas guys x
Great video and ideas shared on your DIY kit. I can relate to how you mentioned how you learn things. I have made such a lot of things from scratch without any patterns or strict measurements. Replicating things I was interested in making. So it resonates for me to be honest. It’s fun in my opinion to be able to see something and figure it out, sorting out solutions as the project continues. It does feel like a longer route but in the end , the skills accumulate and you can solve how to make the same thing quicker or with different materials. Greetings from Norway
@joaquimrasi6822 thanks for your lovely comment, yes working out things has helped me gain confidence and gain more skills over time,
Also it's great to hear that you are from Norway 🇳🇴 and you think very similar 😀

Thanks very much, glad that you find it useful, 😀
I should make another sami coffee pouch. Really easy to make. So hard to find time for this kind of thing at the moment. Really cool pouch you made there. Extremely practical looking and also not overly complicated. Really great content Riam, expecially if you are encouraging people to have a go at this kind of thing and maybe even encouraging me to make another coffee pouch. I have not done this kind of thing in years😂. Great job buddy.
Thanks very much indeed, I nearly did a coffee bag instead of this video but I didn't have enough leather, I am definitely going to make a video on that subject, thanks very much for your lovely comment tim😊
@REDFOXBUSHCRAFT after watching your video I was actually thinking of making one in waxed canvas. A material that I have never used before to be honest.
Great video Riam, top project. Made think quite a bit about bags I have made and how to make them better with the axe loops and also the belt idea.
Thanks very much kit master 😀
Another great Video Great bag and really informative instructions, I’ll be having a go at making one I made the hood ,well chuffed with it, really looking forward to the next Video and thanks for sharing your poems👍

And happy Xmas to you all
Fantastic 👏👏👏👏
I really like your manual sewing machine. This is a coincidence of what happened to me. Last summer I went out as usual to walk with my pet. I like to see the neighbors' gardens while I was there I found a machine like this on the street side of one of my neighbors, it has its original wooden box is very similar to yours has everything, I have not used it yet and it is just as preserved as yours. I really loved the idea of how to sit on the floor comfortable and relaxing, I work art, and leather I also make sculptures I work with acrylic acrylic mass and I make sculptures, on wood and canvas, Your house is a very fun museum to see everything, Blessings thanks for sharing, Greetings from Skien Telemark, Norway. Shalom.
Thank you for your lovely message, and it's great that you are a artist and norway 🇳🇴 is one of the most beautiful places I have been.
looks very useful, ... its only with age can you appreciate a good seat,
Absolutely
Your gear is always so well put together, i love the painted version, it just shows how artistic you are mate. Another cracking vid!! keep up the good work!
Thank you very much mate
I love these gear making videos! I hope the algorithm picks them up so more people can see them!
Thanks very much indeed 😀
Super cool video. You remind me of the Boy Scouts, of my time in my beautiful youth.
Thanks very much, and I was a boy scout, it was a lovely childhood 😀
G😅 probably not legal anymore 😂, I painted a teepee with acrylic paint, just some art work hear and their I used a very hot ion and grees proof paper on top of the fabric, it didn't run when it got wet with the rain, my advice would be practice on a srap piece of canvas and run it under a tap ,if it works your good to go, the heat from the iorn changes the structure of the pain and locks it into the fabric, back in the 1980s a lot of kids use to paint jeans 👖 and do the same thing, thanks very much for your comments.
Hmm, drinking and sewing, is that legal :) Interested in hearing more about your experience/advice on using acrylic on fabric, something I've been researching lately.
Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Sub and 👍34
Thank you very much, that is very kind of you.

Those are very cool. Love the wool one; i definitely have a soft spot for wool!
Fab video Mr Fox...I hope the village idiot doesn't become a nuisance. I really love the natural material tools you use.... no plastic handles and stuff!
Thanks very much 😊
Crikey That was close Mr Mutch! Looks like you had a great camp.
It was like paper towards the top 😅
Really enjoyed that thanks pal👍
Thanks very much
Excellent video again my friend I look forward to the next one
Thanks for staring in it pal
Key step in the wax trick is to cut the end of the thread off AFTER waxing, it will cut MUCH cleaner and leave no straggling fibers off the end to interfere with getting it through the eye of the needle. I do run it through my fingers as you did in the video to smooth it out, but cut it after that step (you can re smooth it in your fingers if it gets frayed from missing the eye). Try some high magnification to see what I mean.
Thanks very much 👍 I will mention more details next video and I will talk about waxing the Fred's, I am limited on time but I will add more bits in ,thanks very much indeed 😀
great video, looks like i have to start my projects now :) definitely going to be doing this one. I really loves Wayland's one that he has put so much effort into. This one is a lot quicker and easier for me.
Yes mate waylaid makes amazing kit he is my biggest influence on crafts, many of my friends are amazing crafts people I am always luring from others, looking forward to seeing your projects pal ,and thanks 😊
Great video, I have a small canvas one I bought for my brew kit That size will be ideal for my Trangia cook set , I can see myself being busy this weekend , just bought the canvas off Amazon , really good quality 👍😊
Fabulous, I am really happy that it helped and I am very grateful for your interest, have a great weekend.
