I think some people in the comments are missing the point. Obviously, if you just slapped all these songs together in a playlist or something, it wouldn’t sound like a Beatles album. This is more so imagining a hypothetical universe where the Beatles recorded these songs together, in which case they would sound very different (and probably better tbh). I'm obviously fine with the Beatles' catalog as is, but it's still fun to imagine these "what if" scenarios.

Outside of "What is Life", the other Harrison songs could have been Beatle songs, as George introduced them in the studio during the "Get Back" sessions.

Nope, nope, nope, nope. The only record that sounds a bit like The Beatles is McCartney's first solo album, and that's because his voice was the most prominent in The Beatles.

My idea was they would take a year or two away from the group and release solo albums in that period before regrouping. George would have released "All Things Must Pass" as a single album with that concept in mind. Maybe John and Paul would have held back some of their singles for The Beatles' next album.

It’s not really the Beatles, just a compilation of their solo songs. Had they stayed together these songs would have sounded different, or maybe would have been completely different because they influenced each other. This may have been for the better, or for the worse, but we will never know.

I've put a series of CD's together that follow on from the red and blue compilations. I used solo and Beatles singles in chronological order along with Travelling Wilbury singles. So far I'm up to 1993. It's kind of like a Beatles compilation as they songs travel through the years and, if The Beatles had not broken up, could well have been Beatles singles. I'd love to see this released officially.

Thanks for your effort on putting together, I'm not sure what I would had added, except for Ringo's, It Don't Come Easy and maybe My Sweet Lord from George, they both seem to have an Abbey Road vibe to me.

Taking a band picture in a field must be a jinx. The Beatles did it right before they broke up. Led Zeppelin did it right before John Bonham died.

A lot of the songs were messed around with during 1969 but never fleshed out. The will was gone, and I think they called it quits at the right time.

Back seat of my car 9.Instant Karma 10.gimme some truth 11. cold turkey 12. Oh my love 13. Ringo song In no particular order. All songs written during the Beatles so this would be their most likely next album with some songs subbed out for fresh new material. Could also sub in: Wah Wah, not guilty, circles, let it down, run of the mill for George. Also look at me, teddy boy, every night, remember, jealous guy (child of nature). I remember seeing they wanted 4 songs from john, paul and george and one or two from ringo for the next album

I have my own little CD comprised of their solo work from 1970 AND 1971 - some of which they were working on as a group in 1968 and 1969. e.g Every Night. and Junk. TO me, its a great little self-created CD to put on every now and again, and a further remider of the brilliance that we might have had had they not split up. My own 'solo CD' ends with Backseat of My Car, and starts with Instant Karma.
