Cool! I remember this game! Also the original monochrome Bad Toys I played! Too bad that was a 16bit application that runs on Windows 3.1 and on Windows 9x and also on Windows NT-based OS via NTVDM.

It's not on the same league as POD, but it's definitely a curiosity worth checking out.
For more than 15 years, I’ve been desperately trying to get this game to run on a modern computer. While reading the description under your video, I discovered OTVDM, which finally allowed me, with just one click, to bring this childhood game back to life for the first time. Thank you so, so much. Quick question, how do you get the game to run in full screen?
Glad I could help! The game doesn't have a fullscreen option (you can only increase the window resolution), I just recorded the game window. One trick though could be to lower the screen resolution to 800x600 or even 640x480, this way the game window would take up most of the screen; it's worth a try I think.

When I download this game and try to play it, the game has no music and the gameplay speed is increased. Does anyone know if there's anywhere I can download the game configured? If not, all I can do is wait for GOG to add this game to their store.

It is a very original and fun game, very playable, with simple controls, easy to pick up and play right away, but that also presents a good challenge due to the various sea hazards.

Hi, you move with the arrow keys, numeric keypad or mouse; shoot with spacebar or left mouse button, jump with 0 on the numeric keypad and collect items with the i key. To drop items from your inventory press s, then select an item with the arrow keys and press enter.

I WAS ONLY TODAY YEARS OLD WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS ONE... NOT BAD FOR 1996! It looks like a racer built on the Doom engine :)

The tracks actually look quite nice.
I agree, graphics were bashed in reviews, but it's not that bad; draw distance isn't great, but otherwise the 3D elements blend nicely with the background, and I like the bump mapping on the ground.
First Person View
Seems fine. A lot of european clubs, graphics are good, playability of the game seems fine only shoots are too fast and player marking seems awkward. I have never heard of this game before. Thanks for share.

До сих пор помню запуск из синего меню Нортон Коммандер, были 4 игры, lines, scorched, nfs1, и fatal 😂🎉игра была сложная, в основном я ездил на Авто Ариэле, гонки где были крутые серпантины я как правило проваливал, но хорошо что мой напарник нередко приезжал в первой тройке и мы таким образом выиграли чемпионат 😂🎉🎉.

The game was made by Chris Jones, creator of Adventure Game Studio, and was only available on his (now inactive) website, which is why it remained rather obscure. It was later found on an archived page on the wayback machine.

Wow how did you run it on Windows 10?
Hi, first put the d3drm dll in the game installation folder (you can find it in the directx folder on the cd-rom), then also put the ddrawcompat wrapper in the game folder, and the game should work fine (it also starts without the wrapper but the graphics are extremely glitchy). You might also want to limit the frame rate, otherwise it runs too fast. Hope this helps.
I do not remember this game at all on PC, I only saw it on N64 I think.

@@dmitrisafonov6976 The third, fourth and fifth Power Dunkers / in the Zone were released on the N64 (and PS1); this is the rather obscure PC port of the first entry in the series (originally released for the PS1 in '95).
Back in 1993 this game was the ultimate shit. There was probably no schoolyard where the name Rebel Assault was not mentioned.

Totally unexpected! It looks like something different than usual, can't wait to see more.
So in this version, you actually do make it to Kilrah and they actually do let you battle for a bit before the Behemoth actually bites the dust. Now that definitely comes together better than the PC version I had always played. I will say I still think a larger Confed fleet should be present. The Victory and its three escorts are hardly enough for such a huge task as covering for the Behemoth.
Yep, for the so-called last ditch effort to win the war I would have deployed at least the entire Vega sector fleet! :D
@reloaded_ I wish we had seen that, that'd have been cool to see. We only got a brief glimpse of that armada before the Kilrah levels. In a cutscene.
