iam internationals 2023! (My experience as the NAM Miss Minnesota State Queen!)
I know what you're probably thinking... girl what took so long, nationals was literally 8 months ago?!
Yeah ummmmmmm I have no excuse for why this was so late other than the fact that I procrastinated with the editing process and it took forever because I somehow had nearly 8 hours of raw footage😂😭 I managed to cut it down to less than 30 minutes though and I hope I created an entertaining masterpiece💁🏻♀️ I am really happy with how it turned out and I posted it just in time before I give up my state title next week!💕
Now that a large chunk of the summer state pageants are done, many of you are either preparing for NAM Nationals 2024 or qualified for it and are wondering whether or not you should go. For those of you on the fence, take this as your sign that YES you absolutely should!!! I had the time of my life during nationals week and it was without a doubt one of the highlights of my reign as the 2023 NAM Miss Minnesota. In this vlog, I give you a glimpse of the national competition experience, the parties, rehearsals with the amazing Miss class, audience POV as I supported my sister queens at their events, and other random behind the scenes footage. All of that in Hayley's chaotic and fast paced vlog style because we keep it real here sis😎
For those of you watching that have seen my other vlogs, heyyyyyy girl and thanks for stopping by again! Some of you even came up to me in person while I was on my summer tour and said you have seen my videos which meant the absolute world to me. hey hayley!!! i’ve been competing for the NAM MN/WI state pageant for 7 years and i just started working with C&P and makeup by maskara and i wanted to know when do they normally send the times out for when you get your hair done?

Question: should you compete in other optional contests to win or would three be okay?
Hi! Optional contestants are judged by a completely separate panel of judges and the results of them have absolutely no bearing on who is crowned the new state queen. I LOVE NAM optional contestants so I choose to participate and recommend you do also, but you by no means “need them to win”.

Quick question as a new contestant to all of this, who do you get in contact when it comes to hair and makeup??
Yes I was wondering the same thing do they have makeup artists there?
Hi! In this video, my hair and makeup was done each day by team Makeup by MasKara. Your options will depend on what state you are from as different hair and makeup artists have their own schedules with what pageants they are attending. I would look at NAM sponsor lists, prize packages, and the national guidebook online and you’ll see some great options there! You can find these amazing artists and many others on Instagram and they often share more information on their availability and the best way to contact them. Remember that while of course many girls work with a hair and makeup artist (and I personally have always had a better pageant experience with one) it is not a requirement to compete. Hope this helps!🫶🏻

Hmm I like driving, but I only got my mom and she's scared to let me in road, I drive so good but she scared of people hitting me, do you have any advice to let her allow me driving without worrying about people? Because when I drive with her she sees that I always managed to drive succesfully even if the road was full or there is some bad driver there, she's just scared to let me drive alone, I had driver license 9 months ago...
I'm glad you are driving Hayley. I am a black lady that started driving at almost forty years old. I practiced driving this morning. I have my road test this Friday at 11:30 am. I am going to get an hour practice this Friday before my road test. I hope to pass. This will be my 3rd attempt.
