Best fun ever, but only in VR! I wonder if the game wouldn't be better received if it had at least a rudimentary VR mode :D

Everything's cool, the graphics, the VR mod, but... the game itself is just so boring and unengaging... and for kids... that it's impossible to play it seriously. It's a walking simulator with overly complicated "logical" tasks like "click the highlighted object/place on the screen." And those endless cutscenes in a tiring (for some reason) pseudo-Japanese atmosphere. I tried to get into it about four times, but... it's hard to take it seriously.

For me, the greatest magic is the atmosphere, I often just walk around this world and observe all the details that make up this world.

Do you know how to fix the game lagging when I get to the cabin in the first mission? it only shows it stuttering in the headset but runs fine in the window
There can be many reasons, from hardware configuration to network load if you play wirelessly. Have you checked the framerate in VD while playing? There it shows whether the lag is at the computer or network level. Personally, I haven't played the game since the beginning of VR, actually only in the endgame.

VR is much better, like being inside an interactive film. Try also Tell Me Why, Alaska's winter views are breathtaking.

Do you play rdr2 VR online? How did you do that?
Not online, but offline. I used LukeRoss VR mod. Sadly it's currently unavailable to the public since TakeTwo threatened the modder with a lawsuit. I was his patron before this incident and was able to download the mod before it was removed.

@@deng9740 I am not sure. It works for me, but since it is not supported everything can happen. For sure you need to downgrade the game.
