Have you ever tried the "Language Reactor" extension for TH-cam or Netflix? I use it occasionally for shadowing, and it works really well. I used to shadow the same way you do, but this morning, I watched a video from Talk To Me In Korean (TTMIK) that suggested repeating after them almost immediately, without waiting for the entire sentence or phrase to finish. I’m not sure that approach is the most effective, though-it seems challenging to catch the correct pronunciation, intonation, and so on, while also mentally comparing it to your own voice to ensure it’s accurate. What do you think?
Great video. 😀 I also agree that learning the writing system first is a great way to begin learning a new language! I also did the same thing with Thai. The only one you can't necessarily do that with (in my opinion) is Chinese, where you have to learn as you go because there are just so many Hanzi. For learning to read and write Thai, I also recommend the book "Read Thai in 10 Days" by Arthit Juyaso.
Finnish strawberries are best 🍓🇫🇮😊
Great video. How long do you study each day?
Respect with your passion.
I am struggling with finding the grammar part can you please tell where you found the grammar explanations and in HTSK some grammar points are not there that's why 🥲 It really takes me like so much time to finally understand it since websites explain it differently
I remember watching this video and got so happy that I can pass topik 1 without spending money and I even wrote a schedule and looked up all the resources you mentioned but I didn't follow it it's already 5th month like I only used how-to study Korean website for grammar lessons and I followed that 6000 Vocab I studied like 600 vocab and one unit in how-to study Korean But now I will use all these resources! I will come back after 6 months 😌 I hope I really can do it this time And one thing how much time will it take for you to study a grammar point because it takes me so much time Sorry this is too big (><)
I have one important questions because it will most definitely affect the end result of the time you spend on preparing the topik exam itself. How many hours per day, or how many times a week you spend focusing learning Korean in general.
I was interested in what you had to say, but music was too loud and very distracting.
Thank you na for this! I got distracted for the past few days... And here I am... back to studying Thai ◉‿◉
All the best! 🫰🏻
Great video!!

how do I study the Korean language at home without doing any online course.

do you think i can made in one month to prepare topik 1 lvl 1?

Good tip!
This was really helpful. I want to try and take the exam later this year or early next year. I have been self-studying for a long time - and have made some progress but I am not where I want to be. Taking an exam is very different from communicating freely. This is where I struggle so much. But it just takes time. I am so fortunate that my husband is Korean. But you would be surprised how much English we speak! I am now forcing myself to speak more in Korean - every day. I guess I am just a slow learner.
Keep doing what you’re doing! It takes time but you’ll get there with consistency 💪🏻
❤
Hi, I just saw your very first video and now this, I love how you present your ideas very effectively. I'm new learner and I feel so stuck with the new vocab and grammar ??? Like I just learnt vocab, but I can't form sentences. But I saw your videos and they helped a lot. Thank you so much 😭💓. I would really appreciate some suggestions on grammar please
Hi! I replied you in the other comment ☺️
@@BellasDiary13 Thanks babe
Hi sweety, I just saw your video, and was really inspired because everywhere, everyone is trying to sell the courses and books and other stuff. Can you please tell me about grammar ??? Like did you jumped to the inter grammar directly after the vocab list, or did you did it together ??? Also, what about basic grammar ?? Like... verbs, and tenses ??? I'm so confused. Thanks a lot.
Hi, thank you for the kind comment ☺️ yes, I learnt grammar and vocabulary together. I definitely recommend starting with the basic grammar and basic vocabulary together so you can form simple sentences first. As you get more confident, you can build up and move on to more complex ones. Hope this helps and all the best!!

What documents should I take to appear on the test day?
Hey! It really depends on each country, so it’s best you check when you register 😅
@@BellasDiary13 In my country India, there are very less seats and we are probably in a rat race ... I couldn't get registered 😔
Hi! After registration will the payment option available instantly? So can i pay the money instantly or do i have to wait for few days?
In my case, I could pay immediately after registering online. It might be different depending on your country I’m not sure 😅
this makes me want to start learning for real.
You should! it’s so worth it :)
