Her posture is what I find most remarkable. I know nothing about gymnastics but it seems like no matter the position her body is in, whether she’s running at full speed or in mid-air, her back and legs and neck are somehow perfectly aligned - almost like watching an educational animation.

her vault is impeccable

Even though taekwondo has always been and will always be my favorite sport since I was a child, I like watching gymnastics during the Olympics too, but the vault by McKayla Maroney in the finals made me fall in love with her at the age of 10 in London 2012, she is my favorite gymnast along with Simone and Alexa Moreno from Mexico (I'm Mexican lol) <3
