hihi, i had too much fun with this review... tbh, the heating element only failed because i used it on max for about 10min trying to remove caps of a power supply who had a huge ground plane, i guess i was asking too much out of this puppy. btw, it still works. so, if you won't max it, which for normal stuff you never need too, you should be fine. oh, and as for the tips, i only use one of them and never had any problems with it, other than the fact that it always screws off, and i always remember to tighten it only after it is already hot, hihi, but then i just use my pliers. i guess it's batter that it always comes loss then it getting stuck... other than that it works great, and the solder that comes with it has a sleep mode, so if you don't touch it it cools down to save the tip and eventually it shut down completely, great for when you drink too much

well, you know what they say, you get what you pay for ;-) and in this case it's not much. but as i said, it does the job, and anyone who buy it should be able to fix it. thanks for the comment and the sub, have fun tinkering, and if you buy chinesium, don't burn down the house...😂😂😂

@@tsope1 , I actually posted a review and teardown of the $45 Harbor Freight Schneider soldering station on my channel, which is surprisingly good for the money, and way better than what I had to work with as a teenage electronics-nerd kid in the 1970's, although the supplied tips are "solid iron" as it says on the box, and replacing them with plated copper tips gives better thermal transfer, for faster and more efficient soldering and less chance of damaging PC boards. The majority of hobbyists buying their soldering equipment and accessories direct from China are probably unknowingly soldering with crappy iron or steel tips; I posted a video about this as well. Although currently retired after a lifetime of audio installation and repair, I have sufficient electronics projects around the house that I might buy myself an inexpensive Aoyue desoldering station : I used one full time for 5 years and am family with how to get the best performance out of them, and the US distributor is in Massachusetts. Their desoldering tips are a little different from those used by the other manufacturers, and I prefer them. Their soldering tips, unfortunately, are iron, not copper....😖 (better to use name brand Hakko tips or similar)

@@goodun2974 Well, the soldering iron that comes with the yihua has a ton of replacement tips online, and I really enjoy it as a soldering iron, it even turn itself off after sitting with no use and turns back on if I shack it, it is really a great station for my use

well, i say, repeat the process with the lid off and see were the smoke is coming from. the hako is obviously better, but for low usage i don't think it's necessary at all. if you are desoldering alot, I'd say, go for the hako

if the iron works then it's not the brain box, it's probably the heat sensor or the sensor cable, really wierd that it's happening with 2 different guns

ok, you got me curious, and i had to check my unit. there are 7 wires going to the connector, the 2 thick ones must be the heating element, 2 more are the sensor and the last pair is the trigger for the pump, which leaves an extra wire. what i am thinking is that the iron and the desoldering gun use a different wire as the negative for the sensor, so, if you have a bad connections on one of the pins that might be the reason, i had the same problem with my unit, but mine had a bad connection on the heater, ( check my other video) so i would say, open the unit and make sure that all 7 pins are connected all the way in the connector, that might be the problem

what's not... she is 13 years old, she is diabetic and she is half blind. as for the huge lump on her side, it's a malignant cyst, she has 3 of them. but don't worry, they are benign and she is in no pain. it's just that they are growing on muscle tissue and removing them would cause her a lot of pain. so the vet said to leave it as is, and since this vet is one of the best in israel and work in the school clinic were all vets in israel go to learn on how to be a vet, i won't argue with her. she is a very happy and spoiled dog, she just has crappy genes. but still, she is the most beautiful dog in the world imo

@@goblinkin hey again, in regards to the media in the us, i think you might be interested in viewing sky News Australia. they are the most neutral. and they are also covering the us, not just this shit. there are a ton of comments on their channel from us residents saying they are batter than any us based media, so you might find them interesting

@@ashutoshgupta6488 war is shit. the idf is super duper precise, with some people even saying it's building takedown looks like controlled demolition and not air bombing. but still, shit happens. thing is, with gaza being so closed, there is no way of knowing if the casualties were hit by the idf or by faulty hamas rocket, or even if the numbers they are reporting are true at all. there was a picture of a allegedly dead kid a few years ago which later on a reporter posted a picture of that same kid still alive and well, so go figure. as for why it started, some say it's because of the sheikh jarrah neighborhood deal and some say it's because of denying Muslims access to the temple mount. but if you ask me, it's all about money and power. hamas is just doing it to gain political power. but what do i know. in any case, the people at fault are not the ones suffering, and that is just shitty

hi, as far as i know, the "d" uses a power supply instead of a transformer and it's the newer model, but they are both have the same functions, so i'll go for the older one since it is cheaper and imo simpler is better, less things to go wrong. as far as the l&n, it has a kettle plug in the back which can only be plugged in one way, so the l&n was definitely reversed. thanks for watching and have a good one

Recent reviews of the Aixun and other affordable "clones" of professional-grade soldering stations (JBC, Pace, Metcal etc) reveal that the circuitry can leak voltage onto the tips and into the board, potentially damaging sensitive components or even possibly creating a dangerous situation for the user; and requiring firmware updates to the soldering station to prevent the temperature sensing circuitry from being thrown off course by the leaky, noisy power supply. If somebody truly needs the bells and whistles of a professional-grade machine, they should not buy a cheap digital clone.

it's much better now though, we used to have exploding buses exploding restaurants exploding wedding venues.... you name it they blew it, now it's mostly exploding pipes that they call missiles, but iron dome just blow them out of the sky. they are still trying but we are simply smarter. last missile strike, i heard the bang but i thought it was just a really loud thunder, it was just at the next day that they showed a piece of missile lying in the street on the news. it's messed up but it's like having a brother that keeps trying to blow up your room, you just learn to lock up your door and try to lock him in the bathroom when ever you can
