What a bloody fantastic video! Those LED lights do make a huge difference, that engine sounds so silky and smooth. Takes me right back to the day. That was a wonderful gesture turning up to share your bikes and entertain the dementia patients. I don't mind admitting that I actually shed a tear when the old guy had his eyes on the 400 Four and then placed his hand on the seat. 😎

Nice early and rare F1 model there, I had the earlier CB350/4 which was a bit on the slow side. The 4/4 had an odd sized engine @ 408cc which took them into the next insurance bracket in the 1970s which culled their sales a fair bit in the UK.

My first bike was the 1975 Honda CB400F. Great bike to learn on and I rode it a long time. Passed it down to my younger brother and he still has it but it has not ran in more than 25 years. What a classic bike and a fine specimen in this video. Thanks for sharing.

Had a new one in 75, £435-00. Took some getting used to doing 10 miles per hour for every 1000 revs……do you get anything in your eyes?

The cam chain tensioner has a habit of sticking. That is when you loosen the nut it should go in to adjust the cam chain. Often nothing happens as it gets seized up. I found a light tap on the end of the adjuster usually frees it off.
