Chaudiere Falls - Ottawa attraction most locals don’t know about

Chaudière Falls is located just north of the Museum of War in downtown Ottawa, and its lookouts and nearby Pangishimo Park are spots I’d say most in the city don’t don’t realize exists. It’s open to the public and admissions is free. It has plenty of spots to hang out and offers spectacular views along the Ottawa River.
Riu Emerald Bay Mazatlán Review | What You Need to Know
มุมมอง 49K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The Riu Emerald Bay is all-inclusive hotel resort in Mazatlán, Mexico. With everything at your fingertips and stellar service, this is a great affordable option for an upcoming vacation. Comment below what if you've been to the Riu Emerald Bay or have any questions on it! 😃
Wow thanks for posting! I'm headed there next month
Have a wonderful time! 😎☀️🎉
I'll do my best: 1) Pretty much any, and I think so(?). 2) No. 3) Yes, there are two beaches on-resort, one that doesn't allow swimming (it's too rocky) and another with canabas. 4) There are definitely vegetarian dishes, but the food selection is limited overall.
If you have any questions, leave it in the comments and I’ll do my best to try to answer them 😊
Clarence drive and Chapmans Peak is NOT THE GARDEN ROUTE! It is part of CAPE TOWN. Get your facts right please. ONLY once you are at Plettenberg Bay you are there...
I never said it was. I mentioned the general area the Garden Route covered, and described the road trip in order to get there. Here's the transcript, or watch it again :) “Now, technically, the Garden Route is generally considered to be the 300 kilometres stretch of coast, starting from Mossel Bay in the West to Port Elizabeth in the East. But because we needed to rent a car from Cape Town in order to get there, make a few stops along the way, and return to Cape Town once we were done, our whole Garden Route road trip ended up being closer to about 1200 kilometres in the end. I can’t go over everything about the Garden Route, but here are a few of my highlights, and some things I think you should keep in mind if you go. The first part of our road trip leaving Cape Town was going for a drive through the stunning coastal highway of Chapman’s Peak.”
MY BELOVED CITY. Blessed to stay here.
Hotel di Ann Amsterdam city centre 290uk pounds 3 nights
Thank u for sharing video is very good,, beautiful flower,, i like ❤🎉 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 😀
how long did you stay in cape town😊
I was in Cape Town for about 3 wonderful weeks!
it was really fun i went in 2024 and so much has changed
Thanks for the review, as I was looking at going there last month, but the timing didn’t work out!
As a local south african this was probably the best video I've seen. Just sorry no one invited you for n braai
The garden route towns are a whole different vibe during December as they are holiday destinations for most South Africans
Thanks very much! I’m still new to TH-cam, so that’s very encouraging to hear. It was a great trip.
I really liked it ,it feels like you got your info from the locals not just tour guides. Also love that you visited the smaller towns. You really get a feel for SA and the people there. Cape Town is a great city. But sometimes you will sit in a restaurant and there are no South Africans dining there.
Such a thoughtful and interesting look at Amsterdam!
Thanks! 🙂
Im from Cape Town and often watch travel vlogs about Cape Town from the perspectives of both Americans and Europeans and honestly, many times I just cringe at how they (some not all) portray my city. You my friend did an excellent job - well done 👍🏻
Thanks, I really appreciate it! It was an incredible trip and this was a lot of fun for me to put together 🙂
Great video !we will be there in April so excited 💃🏻
Hope you enjoy it!
I love Amsterdam it’s a great city
I agree!
I gather it will be pretty crowded for the Eclipse?
Have any tips on visiting Amsterdam? Drop it in the comments below! 🙌
Thank you, very imformative. Does the tourist tax extend outside of the city? I have an airbnb booked on the coast in Zandvoort this November. Looks to be a good spot, only a 30 minute train ride Amsterdam Centraal.
Thanks! What I mentioned applies to Amsterdam itself - but other towns/cities may have their own tourist taxes.
Great video! Planning a visit here this 2024 and it's crazy how the new taxes will affect the overall cost of a trip there.
Thanks - I appreciate it! It’s an interesting development, for sure.
At the 49 second point, you forgot to mention the bands that play on the beach from around 4pm until late. Not sponsered by RIU, the locals come and play. Very annoying !
I enjoyed your vlog omg🔥🔥🔥😩 You deserve a million followers and a million views
Thanks so much. More coming soon :)
Thank you very much, it's a beautiful video, I would love to go there. 😊
Thanks!!
I scared to look down from lions head glad you had fun. Can't wait to go this year
Yep! That's my country right there. Love it
❤️
How safe is the area? Did you feel safe on the resort grounds?
I did - the resort is pretty much in its own away from central Mazatlán and I didn’t sense any safety issues being on the resort.
Good content
I appreciate it - thanks!
This makes me want to go to Berlin!
What's your favourite place to visit in Berlin? 😃
Sweet. Please do more videos in African Countries. Love it!
Glad you got to see this beautiful city and some of the province
So cute!
Beauty! I so need to check out your recommended places! Lion’s Head looks awesome! So much sunshine!!
Beautiful footage and amazing storytelling ❤
Thanks so much!
Well done on a lovely visitor's intro to our beautiful Cape Town and a little of The Fairest Cape surrounds. Penguins are my #1 favourite ... with a visit to Simons Town Boulders Beach or Betty's Bay Stony Point a treat to always put a smile on one's face.
Agreed about the penguins!! 🙂
There's more to the Westcoast, check it out when you come back.
The loadshedding is scheduled blackouts. It's, however, scheduled for different times in different areas. Normally takes two hours a day.
Glad you had fun😁
How come you don't have milion followers. Video is amazing, greetings from Croatia, Zagreb
Thanks so much - that's so nice of you to say! There's more to come soon. And Croatia's definitely on my travel list!
While in Plettenberg Bay, dis you manage to do the Bungy jump?
Unfortunately not!
This place is Heaven on earth especially Plettenberg Bay!! Love it!!!
It was where we spent the most time in the Garden Route!
Thanks for this amazing review and video. We are looking forward to staying here!
Thanks for the kind comment - and hope you have a great time!
On the thee best vlogs
Wow - thanks so much. More to come soon!
Hello, we were curious to the selection of beer at the pubs there?
Hello do you know any homeless shelter around sea point or Cape town that is safe and sound?
Excellent and very useful video. Very well done. Thanks.
Thanks - really glad to hear that!
Such a cool video. This has made me really want to visit but I have heard lots of people say South Africa is dangerous. Do you have any tips and tricks to staying safe??? TIA!
Thanks - I appreciate it! It was super fun for me to put together 🙂 Before I went, I watched this video, which helped to put safety into context. Check it out: th-cam.com/video/8gY53ZLX6qY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=V5xk9O-IATukcZTg
As a South African I don’t really believe the majority of the country is any more dangerous for visitors than most other countries. Watch your belongings in the big cities and I wouldn’t wander around unknown areas at night. The good things far outweigh the negatives. You will be warmly welcomed.
As an ex Capetonian, there is a high crime rate and it pays to read up on safety before visiting and take advice on where to drive etc. Having said that, loadshedding apart, it’s paradise for the moneyed classes.
Great Video brilliant😃👋👋👋👋👋👋
Thanks so much!
Before Robben Island became a prison it was a leper colony
Clarence drive is as spectacular. From Gordons Bay to Hermanus
Ah watching you go up Lion Head using those chains gave me vertigo 🤣😂
Great video
Thanks!
