I can't even argue! I absolutely loved that one, too!

Honestly, it’s not my favorite. I had seen a couple of scenes from that movie before and expected to absolutely love it, I’m also a huge Dracula fan. There was stuff about the movie that I really liked like the scene where he turns into the giant bat is awesome as well as the scene where Van Helsing fights the brides, I think the use of color is fantastic and the whole dreamlike quality of the film is wonderful. The performances from Oldman and Hopkins are also top tier. However I have just never been into the Dracula story having a romance aspect and I feel like this movie quadrupoles down on it. The movie tries so hard to make Dracula a sad and sympathetic character, and I kind of hate the idea of Mina being his reincarnated wife or having any prior connection before the count sees Johnathan’s locket at the castle. I’ve always felt like The Phantom of the opera is supposed to be the sympathetic and romantic character, Dracula should be the personification of darkness and evil.

I saw Cheeky's announcement! It looks like a trip! I would assume as long as they can get the rights, that those will be coming down the road!

Yay i would love both Black Angel and The Key to get a 4k release down the road. As that is how I fell in love with Tinto Brass's filmmaking style. I think both those are his most accessible works if people want to get into his filmography.

So my vote for 4k(there are so many) restoration would be Zodiac by David Fincher. I think the film is visually immaculate and a 4k HDR would look amazing. Again not the first type of film people would think of but that and No Country for Old Men would be immediate orders for me. Nice vid.

I do actually have some hope that with the Sony deal may come some interest in giving it a Blu but tbh there are some super problematic subjects in it that modern audiences would likely not take well, so I wouldn't be surprised if Disney wants it buried because it isn't "on brand" >_>

@JTtheTalkingHead I really think if Disney was smart, they'd just let a sub label release anything they weren't comfy with.

It's insanity that these studios are playing those games with us though! It's getting pretty old. I hate when they release a Blu-ray, then months down the road release a 4k.

@@OverlyHonestReviews I agree. I still don’t own night house physically because I played the waiting game and seemed to have lost, poor things I gave out on and got the Blu-ray because I see how Disney has been with their searchlight films now.

I've determined it's all because of the IndieGogo campaign exclusives.

Without question, it would be "The Patriot" a 1928 semi-biographical film directed by Ernst Lubitsch and released by Paramount Pictures. It's listed on the New York Times 1,001 Films list, and preventing me from finishing it lol.

Well, thank you! I didn't think anyone would care about that aspect, so that's awesome! It's not a dumb question at all; color, in general, is such a weird thing. So in printing, 99% of colors are made up of a combination of C(cyan), M(magenta), Y(yellow), and K(black), and yes, it's weird they use K for black, but still, lol. There is such a thing as a five-color printing process, but that's usually for specialty inks like metallics, neons, etc. So now that you have the history of printing, the simple answer is yes, almost everything is just those four colors.

It doesn't they're just the 4k discs, and the digital codes are the 4k versions. Although I would imagine once the next wave of 3D comes around, they'll probably take advantage of it.

That's one of my favorite parts, the surprise of all the new stuff! :)
