I have to see this joy and talent. Hurricanes, Covid, flooding, tornadoes, political insanity, this woman rises above all that and takes me to a different dimension. And this is not my style of music at all. But I saw her in the movie Temptations: confessions of a Marriage Counselor. It was just a snip, but I had to pause the movie and research, who IS this person.

To God be all the honor, praise, and glory! Thank you for such beautiful music and people. I lived out in Lake Charles for a period of time. My family is from there. This reminds me of way back when people had pure love 💗 in their hearts, and the love was shown through togetherness☺️. I only wish people knew how to behave as such today, all over the world. Doreen Ketchens is one of a kind. Very few musicians have the chops and the gift to reach down as deep as she does and let it all out. So rare...like Satchmo, and that ain't no lie. And the Tuba (Sousaphone) player's not bad either!! Actually, the whole group is a cut above and then some. Thank you, all.
