Saving 2 birds from a rodent sticky trap - shop rag, olive oil and some luck! Came home and this sticky trap fell onto the driveway with the birds stuck to it. One of the birds was really tired and was not moving much. The other was still trying to fly. Cypress, Texas

Man this is great...im having the same problem in a tight stop..with an alumminun ladder..great ideah
Best video I've seen on this and I own one
Just waste of time
Would it not work if you fix a pice of wood on the face of the original ladder to act as a stopper? Instead of threading the bolts every time?
I'm working on something similiar but i don't want to keep removing the bolts every time i need to use it!
You don't have to take the seat out
Smart ! I’ll do the same Thanks mate👍
You're a good man! Super simple and effective
I have this same problem and have been rocking my brain for 2 weeks until I seen your video. Thanks
Smart idea!! Thanks for posting... why does the next size ladder up cost close to $200 over? I will be designing something very similar.
Sir, you are a talented teacher with a systematic approach! Thank you for this very well made video!
Very well done !! I wish everyone would be so complete!
Any idea what would make that window go down and not come up?
Great Job!
I bought one second hand for £15. It is a little short so of course I will be doing something similar!
Very clever! I was just looking at buying a set of attic stairs today, and because I would need an extra 10" beyond the shortest one that Lowe's had available, it would have cost me another $125! Thanks for the tip!
What a pain
Just buy the longer one and cut the lower section to suit..
Bro you're goated
Nice job. People always think working on convertibles requires some sort of voodoo magic knowledge, but they are just like any other car. Dismantle, fix things, reassemble.
Best step by step video I've seen so far . Thanks 👍
I feel like it would be better to get the longer one and cut it shorter to the correct length? then you wouldn't have to undo and redo the wingnuts every time and the ladder would fold correctly back up... if cutting it shorter would loose a step, then adding a new step higher would be the next thing to do; unless the next step up is close enough to the floor that you can still comfortably use it.
I looked at other comments... I didn't even know there were directions stating this very thing.
Because it isn't cost effective dragon lady. Sheesh!!!
Dude thank you!
The best bar none how to video post on a Chrysler Sebring door window and regulator replacement. I checked them all and this is the winner The electrical harness undo button how to is priceless
Smart idea. I need this for my aluminum ladder. I can't even buy a bigger one, as the I bought the maximum length of 3 meters.
Thanks for your valuable time and video. I was able to complete the installation. My old dead regulator panel was stuck in the down position. Inorder to remove glass window ihad to use a hack saw and cut off bolts. I installed new panel regulator and old glass window and all works great. Without your video I would have been completely Lost. So two thumbs up. 🤸. 👍.
I will order new glass. Upon close inspection the nuts to remove glass are only accessible if the glass is half way up the glides. I tried cutting tension pulley wire but to no avail. One the regulator motor is dead and glass is down then no way to move glass up and down glides. Juzt some fyi info.
My glass window is all the way down on the old non working regulator panel. I have my new regulator panel (without glass window). I am ready to install new regulator panel but cannot see how to safely remove the original glass window from the old panel then attach to new panel and install on vehicle. Any help would be great. Thank you.
*Louisville Ladder AA2210 Elite Aluminum Attic Ladder is awesome✬>**share4.photo/lAtticLadde?bc** It's very sturdy and very easy to install. Just follow the instructions provided and nothing will go wrong. I like it so much that this is my second Louisville aluminum ladder. Thank you for providing a safe and good ladder for the attics .*
Very clear video. Just watched it through. Your video really takes it to another level. Thank you.
Step by step perfection! Man, this will make my life a whole lot easier. Thank you sir!
Kevin, you made or look like I could easily do it, so I did! Thanks for the great instructions!!
Way to not read the directions, dude.
His ceiling is to high so he has to add on. Has nothing to do with reading instructions.
He bought the improper length. All there is to it. DO NOT DO THIS! This is not safe and not recommended by the manufacturer or any licensed contractor!
I know you posted this video some time ago. I just want to add that you can buy 100 ft by 4MM aircraft-grade wire rope from harbor freight and you can get aluminum ferrules from Home Depot to repair the cable. The wheel can be purchased from multiple places online for under $4. Of course, this depends on if the wire rope or motor is the problem, the motors are still insanely expensive.
Good detailed video !! Just did both my rear window regulators on a 2002 Sebring Convertible .. On the 2002 , removing the rear seat is not needed. It is a reasonably easy job and worth doing yourself ...
Nobody do this. Buy the longer ladder and cut legs to length. Read the directions.
this was a great help thank you 96 is the same
great job, the cable can be replaced if that's the issue but it's not too easy. i've done them. just use your brain and do it. saves lots of money.
i put the front window up, shut the front door and adjust the rear window to fit the front window the way it was before i took it apart and then test everything even with the top up before i finish putting it together. make sure all the windows automatically drop and inch or so before putting the top up too or they won't seal. the top closes and then you put the windows all the way up. a safety issue.
Nice idea but eventually I get tired of taking those bolts out everytime I needed to go into the attic. Wife definitely not doing that
This video demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge on the part of the person posting. ALL stairs need to be purchased LONGER than needed, installed into the opening, and then TRIMMED to the proper length!!! This is EXTREMELY unsafe and should not be listed as an example of soemthing anyone should repeat! th-cam.com/video/OrqcKmiEBNw/w-d-xo.html is an example of the proper trimming of the stairs! th-cam.com/video/bB4pi4RrAVk/w-d-xo.html shows how to properly install attic access stairs from start to finish. Scrub ahead in the video to 13:26 and see how to properly address the length of your stairs!
You should’ve purchased the longer length, as that is the manufacturer’s intention. These are made in standard lengths, always purchased longer than needed, as the manufacturer knows each application is different. When installing, you actually cut the bottom section to the length needed with the proper angle to the floor.
If you purchase a high ceiling model of some attic stairs they will just add an extra section to the ladder. So not that much different to what's happening here.
This is perfectly acceptable and safe. The longer ladders can be more than double the costs
And the ensuing hospital bill will be 10X’s the cost of doing it properly.
@@DrewSachau you obviously have never built anything before but to each his own.
Does she still have the convertible? Good video, thx.
Thanks!!!!
A trap just fell? From where? Who set the blasted trap? Maybe you shouldnt be laying that shit out in a place where it can catch 2 birds. Moron. "Fell onto my driveway." ...bullshit You set that shit.
Can an attic door close while you're up in the attic? And if so can I open it from inside if that does happen?
I have been trying to figure out how to do this
He is so good
glue traps are horrid!!
I love you so much you are a great people 😍😍😍😍 thanks for saving!!!😘
Today my bird also stuck in trap ...how to remove that glue please anyone can say that...
How so u get the angle for the stair I know I use triangle but is it a inch up from the mark from floor or?
