@@AzarathX. heat system that does nothing. Sonic fang heat engager does 43 max damage where other characters on average do 58 min. Horrible lows. B1 his best tool does no damage. Lion heart stance a gimmicky tool that only works on low level opponents. There is a whole video out there highlighting more weaknesses. On top of having high execution but mid rewards puts steve in a solid bottom 15. Any success steve sees is due to the player being good at the game.

Victor is only hard because the rush down pre patch was meta with him. He's punishment/counter with a parry now. Also, there is a longer extension with his combos. But you know what... yeah he's low teir....😂😂

@@zzz8606 which is why Mid tier is best for him ... he is balanced ... he is not at all weak nor is he super strong.... Bryan never carries an user ..you just have to be skilled enough to get it out of him...

Sounds like a phrase an akuma player used just bc it takes skill to use him doesn’t make it ok for him to walk carry your ass all over the stage and get a fucked up oki and 100+ damage without rage. Grant it there is dragonov but like idk with walls I think Bryan gives dragonov a run for his money.

@@The_Keyboard_Warriorit goes hand in hand im not saying there completely alike at all but people used to say his damage output was fair because it was so hard to execute that’s just not right so in a sense just because Bryan is “hard” to master doesn’t mean his rewards should be that great that’s just my take on it when your in high level play he’s very annoying so I’d but him at high A due to other easier characters that’s are more unfair then he is.

Because nobody is teching every grab that he has. Dominating online and has little barrier to entry to do good as long as you can get in. On top of that he has a wave dash now so he’s even better than before despite grabs being nerfed a while ago

Bad heatsmashes? Zafina has a 12f heatsmash from neutral, I think its one of the best in the game.

1) Yeah her damage lower tier but everyone in this game deals too much damage. 2) Her standing heat smash is just worse than wake Jack has, but it does serve as a 12f punish 3) F1+2. SCR 2,1. TNT DF1 are all great heat engagers 4) Her heat isn't amazing, but it's something. Steve Jin and Lee basically get nothing. The powercrush makes Tarantula way more legit since you can't punish her anymore for block one of the transitions or moves that leave her in Tarantula. Either way having plus on block powercrushes from TNT and MNT is not to shabby with heat dish your MNT DF1 becomes a heavily + on block mid power crush launcher, kind of insane. I just don't like how it eats her eat in combos. 5) D3 is an amazing low, on hit gives good frames for either full crouch or MNT mixup. Full launch on CH. Only -13 if you go into MNT, insane low only weakness is it's a little slow. MNT 3,1 is one of the most BS moves in the game. Her full crouch low is basically a hellsweep, I use it all the time in wakeup oki. 6) Man hasn't played Steve. 1,4 as a great 10f punisher. 1,4 into TNT df1 is basically guaranteed and that chip damage basically counts as part of your 10f damge. 7) Her wall carry sucks, yep. 8) Before the patch yes, after the patch they're all great. They deal way more chip damage to the enemy than they deal to herself. 9) Scarecrow feels pretty shit in this game I won't lie, but mantis and tarantula are better than ever. Mantis 3,1 is one of the best strings in the game, low into safe mid launcher. MNT df2 is a safe mid launcher... gives a terrible combo but still a safe mid launcher. MNT slide is risky but gives decent damage, CH launch and keeps you in MNT with plus frames on hit. A good player will try to low parry mantis anyway since in that stance zafina has 3 different low-mid strings that all CH launch lmao. I play a lot of different characters to blue ranks and Zafina is definitely one of the easier ones I've ranked up. She's a solid mid tier on her own right but she is such a hard knowledge check for the opponent. Tarantula is punishable in theory but almost nobody punishes it, and now in T8 they have to respect it if she's in heat. The hardest character I've ranked up is Steve. I don't know how he keeps ending up so high in tier lists, maybe pros are good with him but I'm convinced Steve is the worst character in the game in the hands of 99%+ of the playerbase. The vast majority of people will find MUCH more success with Panda or Raven than they will with Steve.

@@The_Keyboard_Warrior he’s won the German event with SIN a yoshi player , 2 at ewc that did well which was the most competitive tournament basically ever, people only played like 5 characters at ewc nina drag shaheen victor alisa and few feng and yoshi he definetly makes a tier in this game

@@pranavjain8774 bro there is no way you watched the ewc then. On a pool 32 participants there was like 16/17 different characters played and i'm not even counting secondary character... The jon with his king, double with law, farzeen with victor or even hafiz wih his claudio are just a few exemple and they are part of the best result of the tournament...

@@thezs1832 which of those did well and also won events ? Why you only reading the ewc part yoshi is one of the few characters to actually win a tourney, other than that we have law and Claudio, yeh we have bear etc too but did they also do well

​@@pranavjain8774 well all of those i listed there did way better than any yoshi in the ewc. Yoshi winning event ? Sin won a Tier 2 recently and that was after doing multiple upset also kkokoma which was his final opponent completly admited that he wasn't ready for the yoshi match up. On the most recent event sin participate in, kkokoma did prove it by eliminating Sin 2/0. Sin did a good performance but this is not a top 8 in a major event Double made it to top 3 in eswc,won the mixup 2024 and consistant top 4/8 in major event with law . Mulgold won multiple tourny and consistant top 4 in event with claudio. The Jon make pretty much do only top 8 in insanely stack event. Keisuke did a top 2 in CEO with kazuya still waiting for similar performance from a yoshi. Well i'm not gonna list every performance of each world class player but yes yoshi doesn't perform as good as you think he is. We're all waiting to see eyemusician now who will maybe make this change but there are a loooot of character who're doing better result than yoshi right now.

He has to commit to a 15f f4, which in itself is a great move, but can be blocked with one SS and can also be floated with jab, or then ff1, another great move but it's slow. You do have wavedash, but in a game so aggressive as this it doesn't have the same utility as T7. IMO he needs to come down a tier or two. Also Nina at the moment is clear no.1 for me. Her pokes and strings are the best in the game. Her movement, lows, hurtbox, damage, are top tier.

@@Donalob Not everyone. 50% probably are, 50% probably not. I think that some characters are "honests" (like Bryan, Kazuya, Reina, Law), some are not (like Victor, King, Lili, for example).

t8 is a pretty balanced game across all characters so all of them are at least playable

@@The_Keyboard_Warrior it does work... He has excellent damage with excellent tools for every situation... Spin is too OP for this game... And you need to watch sin play yoshi in tournaments...

@@sudharsanana4442 i literally watch every match of every tournament ..even the pools... i am not saying Yoshi is not strong but i think yoshi is not stronger than the ones i put in S tier... this is the best version of Yoshi ...no doubt... but i'l be convinced when I see yoshi in top 8 at least

Well Sin won only one Tier 2 tournament against kkokoma and kkokoma himself admitted he wasn't prepare at all for the yoshi MU and he proved it by winning 2/0 with no difficulty and the next encounter with sin. It's easy to blame spin but spin litteraly didn't change since T7 and he does have weakness it doesn't recover that fast so most move you make whiff you can't even punish it and any homing move does hit with their CH property. Also yoshi does have one of the worst sidestep in the game so he really doesn't have a choice than spinning. I still think yoshi is a monster but not as strong as people think he is and probably for different reason than them. Yoshi just force people to play differently but against Nina or dragunov you don't even really play the game.. Yoshi is still a highly defensive and setup oriented character which is way harder than just playing a character with constant and insane pressure

Linda isn't the worst. I play her and she is so easy to win. I have like 85% winrate to kishin. She is at least B tier. People just suck at this character.

@@MrMinutmen1 A little more blurry and since it is forced FPS you cannot really expect it to be super smooth... That could be the only way RTX 2060 users can play this game with decent frames. With DLSS you get like 60-70 fps and it drops to 55 as well.. which is a bit weird
