this game has to have a troop selecting mechanic. i just installed it, played a lot, finished it and this is the most significant draw back, or lack of feature this game has for me. something simple: a card like showcase like total war of each unit type and how much do you want to select from them. like half of your spearmen, 1/3 of hunters

I finally beat my F quest and had to just surf up a youtube clip to brag about it because I spent 200 hours trying to beat it :) my setup: Perks: Gladiator school, Commander mode, Ranged Damage, Experience Gain and Pristine Archer. Weapon: Wand It requires very specific things to do in order for this to work, you need some spiders for cash, you need to upgrade houses before farms and you should put all focus on ranged damage. You do the 100% damage on blessings the three last rounds. And final boss round you need to just focus on the boss yourself, leave your kids to play with monsters and as soon as you kill him on the wave move all your kids to the next wing, repeate. this works but its close. puh...finally.

600 golds left at last wave. Front to back weapon when the modifier say you gotta rush their backline. A bit of micro-management of the armies. And since the main weapon is turbo-broken it's working. 600 golds left at last wave. I'm not saying you're wrong, you found the way. That's really cool! I recently beat Durststein with 9 mutators, but my strategy is not as optimized as yours so I only got a high score of 50,000. I did not know you could solo that first archer wave with heavy armor + magic armor.
