I've long considered taking a step back and doing a series reminding myself of "the songs that made me," and covering them/relearning them. The songs that played pivotal roles on my journey. This was a key one - one of the first singles off Good Charlotte's 2002 The Young and the Hopeless, and my first concert. Perhaps there are more to come in this series!

A Pair of Jigs played on my Weber Bitterroot Octave Mandolin. First tune is written by Martin Hardiman, and i known both as Hardiman's Fancy or Joe Derrane's, and the second tune was written by Scots piper Gordon Duncan in honor of its namesake, Rory Gallagher's. I get a little glitchy in spots, but I was feeling the general vibe of these tunes as a solo pair.
