Removing steel weakens it, making it fail early, as seen being done in the video. Hopefully its not going on the cars.

Its safer to get new parts, than to rebuild ball joints, tie rod ends, or something critical, when it breaks control is lost and life or lives are taken, due to faulty rebuilt parts.

Nice job but way too much time and effort . Brand new would only set you back less than thirty dollars but i understand in these other countries they don’t have shelves were they can just get a brand new one so great job turning a ball joint into a master piece ❤

....almost all ball joints are press fit. And while there are quite a few sizes they are not special...why didnt he just press it out and size it for a new press in.

Mas... se formos colocar na ponta do lápis os valores da mão de obra (hora torno; hora solda e mais a busca de.materiais para confecção da peça) e o valor final da peça..... só valerá realmente a pena se for uma situação onde o país está fechado a globalização ou está em guerra. Mas o que vale é a visão das máquinas operando artesanalmente a obra em construção.

Когда то в 90е в моем городе был дядька который восстанавливал шаровые, отец обращался к нему 2 раза за несколько лет. Говорил что после восстановления эти шаровые не ломались.

They abused their trucks, always overloaded, plus poor quality of the parts, buy American or Germany products

Pure Waste of time...Just buy original replacement part or the very least buy OEM manufactured parts that cost lesser.

Those ball joints are are suppose to be heat treated and with all that welding he did
