My largest catch since I started fishing in 2021. My GoPro died before the release, but she was released safely! If you ever wake up and doubt it’s going to be a good day on the water, DONT! You could be missing out on at least one legendary catch.

This video’s got everything: cool catches, some epic fails, and plenty of laughs to keep things interesting. We’re out here trying to snag the big ones, and let me tell you, it’s not always as easy as it looks. (because sometimes things just don’t go as planned!). Smash that ...

Nice video! Great catch! I just subscribed. I fish Charlotte harbor/Boca Grande area a lot and just started to venture out to other spots.
@@Onemorecast941 Thanks! I explored the CH area in the cooler months. Lots of diversity down there.
The heat is definitely on! Keep it going

Awesome video. You have inspired me to get a kayak. Is this the Vanhunk Pike that you are using? How stable is it?
@@highhopes26 yes it is. You can stand up in it, and does well in wake of other boats. I hardly ever get water on me.
Nice job! Good share
im local to sarasota ad have several yaks myself. lets get together n make some videos sometime!
@@manasotaliprippin I’m taking some time off with this climate. When it cools down, I’d collaborate!

Brooo he caught Phill

Really nice!!
Yea man it’s an amazing experience catching big snook in the kayak by the mangroves. Congrats! What lb test leader were you using?
@@InshorePursuitFL 20 pound
@@jparkfishing oh wow! Yes very fortunate it held up to such a long fight with a big snook. Congrats 🎊
your video inspired me.#jim roberts,#flyfishing

What a beast!
The o shit when you knew it was a biggin😂
Hell yeah man epic catch
that dock has the worst welds ever 😅
Man fish are real complacent whenever it’s somebody else holding them 😂
Not Tarpon. I have that documented in another video.
Good catch but for me treble hooks and kayaks are a recipe for disaster
It’s not if, it’s when.
Stay dry fishy
You are the fish whisper sir! Would that make you the fishisper
No, fish provocateur.

I will, I’m still stuck doing it on instagram.
Enjoyed the vid man. Nice fish. Just subbed to the channel. Keep up the good work and tight lines.
Thank you, thank you!
Phillippi Creek? Looks like a great stretch of fishing spots.
yeah, he was in-between beeridge bridge and proctor bridge it looks like
Yes! Proctor. Ive caught fish as far up as Tuttle but I was on the bridge that time.
lots of big fish in there, fished it for years.@@jparkfishing
@@airsoftmen123 Its filled with mullet. I was under Proctor and I saw a snook get raised into heaven and it was a kid fishing from the bridge I had no idea he was there.
@@jparkfishing don't be fooled brother there's a lot of fish but definitely takes some patience. There's tilapia, bass, bluegill, mullet, snook, tarpon, jack cravel, myan chiclyds, and of course gar. Probably some others closer to the mouth such as pompano, snapper, ladyfish, ect. Lots of big fish but most can be finicky
how far up from the ocean is this?
1,2 miles
Short yet a great fight. That could've been a good catch.
I know! I had my flats anchor with me so I could have stayed put, I wasn’t expecting a psycho tarpon.
got that vanhunks
Pompano.
Nice catch! Good job
Really nice catches! Nice area to fish in
Well, don't drop the fish now! I must add, that's "genius" putting the built in measuring thing on that narrow edge next to the water... Sorry about your flat stick thing.
I just went back to that spot and the stick is still there, tide was too high to get it. I made the marker on the side of the kayak so i didnt have to bring an extra thing on board for measuring.
What was that? Looked like a putter. Why in the world would you have a putter while fishing?! That’s foolish.
Haha no its a flats stick for anchoring.
I feel your pain on those horrible kayak launches that are terrible for fishing kayaks, nice catches!
Thanks! There is a small boat ramp a few feet away but 3 boats were launching.
