Before I continue watching I just wanna say... Back4Blood is garbage XD L4D2 I better in every way imaginable (gameplay, missions, detail, collisions, music, etc...). Also before someone sais that "it's a different game". Hell yeah... It doesn't come even close to the perfection that L4D2 is. I'm basically necroing now huh... welp, regarding purgatory and hell theory, bro you don't get stuck in purgatory at all. That place is a testing place whether you enter heaven or hell, most likely to purify you and to remove any attachments to the world (kind of actually like defeating your ego on being ultra egoistic). Connecting it with hell, in Revelations those who didn't enter heaven were the sinners who broke the 10 commandments (which Jesus said can be summarized as loving God and your neighbors, in context to love is "to will the good of the other." - St Thomas). So it the purgatory theory could make sense, since they were literally being tested of their acts of love (as per St Thomas Aquinas). I'm going weird with this one but, the Catholic Church and Protestantism umbrella have had a beef on regarding salvation, is it by good acts or Chist alone you're saved? there were many intellectual talks about this but for us laymen, to be saved is to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and the proof of that acceptance or that now God's grace flows through you, or the "seed of faith" has been planted is your acts of love (again remember St Thomas Aquinas' and Jesus' summary of 10 commandments as love).Hence you'll see them by their fruits and not by what they say, they say they follow Christ as Lord and Savior but makes living a hell for other people, ditches them and all then they're not a tree of grace rather a different one. Lastly, to make sense of it all: "God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him." -1 John 4:16 Bishop Robert Barron on one of his videos, explicitly said that the metric in which you'll be judged whether you enter heaven or not is "love." And oh boy, lol this idea seems to fit with L4D universe as some sort of a literal physical purgatory
