This one video says it all and has given me an enormous amount of respect for every actor who has to go through this. Repeating lines in scenes over and over and over again... I don't know how they do it. I have the utmost respect for them all, God bless them

Love this scene by two of British finest actors! Whenever in real life we see somebody making a whole kerfuffle of wrapping up we always think of this scene.

As funny as Rowan Atkinson is, that was perhaps my least favorite scene in that whole movie, I know the whole point was to drag on Alan RIckman's character's embarrassment, but that alone is not enough to hold what is a very long scene.

I am sure all the crew was smiling😍

Actors work hard. Not really the glamorous life that people imagine. And there is an equivalent for stage actors who have long, boring technical rehearsals. Then there are the TV actors who may not get rehearsal time and who may be given new pages of line changes just before shooting begins.😂

The interesting thing about this scene is why it is so long. Answer: this gives the editor plenty of room to cut away to close ups at the best time, i.e Atkinson

Alan Rickman’s face and his obvious rising panic was wonderful, but it was Rowan Atkinson’s “flourishes” that cracked me up!

I feel that Mr Atkinson character is the spirit of Christmas, at the store and at the airport later, and he appears to make people make the right decision. He makes a show with the gift box because it should be given to someone with pride not secretly.
