I accidentally stumbled on this video whilst looking up the difference between a Vibraphone and Marimba ... and listening to James Shawcross' explanation. That led me to click on the Milan Recording Studios TH-cam channel, which led me to Tommy Yon's performance. What a find! An absolutely superb rendition. I'll be searching out more of him ... and, quite possibly, a little bit more of James' activities at MRS. Man I love the Internet!

i have not seen any keyboard/piano reviews for a long while, are you not doing that anymore?

Whisper Rooms. I found it 30 minutes ago looking for ways to sound "deaden" a sax. THese rooms are perfect for any "hand-held" instrument" Or a keyboard.....assuming the keyboard doesn't have a h eadphone jack. Can they build custom room sizes? Is there a limit to the size? I ask because I was wondering if they didnt have a room large enough to fit a semi-concert grand in. :) Was just thinking how pointless acoustic pianos are fro homes--because no one has a purpsoe built room, everyone puts their pianos in the living room next to a exterior wall and window--annoying the neighbours. ON a hard wood floor. So really no one wiht an acoustic piano is getting "the best sound" from their expensive instrument. Great idea. HOpe they have plans to make custom room sizes ....obviously for people willing to pay the price. Have you priced the differene between a WHisper Room and a custom made studio room? Would it be cheaper just to build a "recording sutdio room"??
