Everything you touch turns to gold! The hard work paid off!
Just stumbled across this video, love different styles of pinstriping, have tried myself just not satisfied, but learning, your only limited to your imagination 👍
Your werk is killer bro , doubt just means you actually give a shit and it serves to keep a true artist striving a growing getting better all the while , - I’m trying to figure out this side of the automotive paint world and from what I see is everyone has a style of their own ,some I dig some I don’t , those I do will hear it those I don’t wont it’s called manners lol , keep up the awesome werk bro
Thank you very very much. It actually means a lot to me when people take the time to comment on my work. I have always had pride in the fact that I never phone it in. I'm always striving to get better and better. I owe it to myself and my customers. Thank you again
I just watched your video and i Like it. Now i need a technical suggestion from you, if you please. Is possibile to pinstripe on a bedliner paint? Tha painter is finishing all my motorcycle in Army green (Raptor liner) and the surface is very rough and i don't know if i can. What do you think about? Have you ever tryied it? Thank You
Sadly wouldn't be able to paint a good pinstripe on it. It would be too rough of a surface good how are you. Thank you for enjoying the video
I hate crossovers but Todd is a master of good looking crossovers Unique continuos line style Hard to do
Is he good or is carl good still like this in,his 70.s what a player
I like 👍 your style with the thick and thin lines. I've been striping and sign painting for 30+years.
Awesome but FYI that reflection makes it hard to see your fine work
GREAT VIDEO I THINK THE THICK N THIN LINES ARE COOL , CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE
Thank you very much! That means a lot to me
You're right in so many ways Todd. What you said in this video hit home in so many areas. I just do it as a hobby, but I like doing it.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it
The video is awesome. Keep rock'n the brushes!

Thank you very much I plan to have more videos
Nice! You're a Bottle Rockets fan! Also...love your work. :)
Yes I am a Bottle Rockets fan! In fact Brian and his wife we're here for my 40th birthday at my shop. And thank you for the nice words
@@toddhanson8570 Very cool. Loved seeing them and covering a few of their tunes. Thanks also for your donation of art (and T-shirt design) to the Chicago Brushmasters. Your artwork drew some serious bidding! Cheers!
Your shop is so rad!
Incredible work. I just watched 3 of your videos...wow! I have a question...does the stripe hold up when painting over the pencil lines? I've been striping new cars and body shop repairs for 31 years and am stickler for prep. I want to do more freehand designs but my OCD is holding me back. How does the design hold up when it goes over the pencil marks? Thanks
Thanks you very much! I really appreciate the nice words. I use a Stabilo pencil but I don't press down very hard. If I did, then yes, you would possibly have a problem with adhesion. But the majority of the designs that I'm doing like you see here are just roughly drawn there and I don't follow the pencil lines exactly. They are mainly just to get a feel for what I want the design to be.
@@toddhanson8570 thanks again!!! You're imagination is amazing. I've been looking at pinstriping designs for a long time, they all start to look the same....not yours!!!
Thank you very very much for wonderful compliments! I got very tired years ago of looking at really mediocre pinstriping that seem to look the same over and over. I tried to dissect it and see what makes good designs work and how I could change them, so I started off on my own path. Again thank you very much
Kafka Brush Company is for sale.
Many decades ago when I first started striping I took some samples to show the man who got me started. He said that my brush control was very good and that he didn't understand the designs (ala Von Dutch) but they were very good! Which made me feel great until he asked "How long of a straight line could I pull and do it on the side of a vehicle? It ruined my day! I tell newbies the same thing! Anybody can stripe a design but show me a a 10 foot horizontal straight line!
Very true! I always enjoy the challenges of the long line pinstriping on cars. I'm probably rewarded more mentally when I do a really good job at that versus when I do designs
Nice work
Thank you very much
Isn’t there some sort of law about Mohawks and grey hair. Kidding aside your work is outstanding
I have a great sense of humor so don't worry! Lol thank you very much!
Great music but I don't see the pin that I'm looking for Thanks for posting
