New to Evercade but having a lot of fun discovering the obscure games on some of these carts I probably would have overlooked. Probably will never get the Lynx of Codemaster carts as they are averaging well over $100-$150 CDN. Did order a copy of this cart as it was more......reasonably (a little under the average E-Bay price)

Combat system is kind of junk there to way to disengage if you take a battle. You either let your ships get looted or win the fight.

Don't know which module is my favourite, but my most hated one is definitely the Morse Code - I find it so hard to distinguish the dots from dashes and to tell when a new letter starts.

I've really been enjoying these videos, it's fun to watch you defuse bombs :D A bit of advice on Who's on First (though you might have figured this out by yourselves by now): It goes quicker if the person with the manual doesn't pause after each word and instead just reads out the entire word list - and the defuser clicks the first word they hear.

I would also recommend you to try out Sacred 1, it is way shorter, it is also open world, but it is not as huge, and in terms of game mechanics, stats and loot it is way easier for a new player to understand.

here is a tip: when the face-hugger is on a player you can kill the face-hugger with bullets or if there are no players near you, you can explode it. anyway good video

This is one of my top favourute games that I know, and I got GOLD version so I got Ice and Blood as well which I thoroughly enjoy and so watching videos like this makes me appreciate the game more. Is this worth playing in the 2020's? Oh YES it is. Very Good Graphics, good setup, characters, you can do so much, develop all forms of strategies, like dedicated merchant, or Blacksmith, or any of the other skillsets that you can do. For me at least, it has GREAT replay value. I always love to hear others on their views of this game, if they like it, what they did and didn't like about it. This is just plain and simple Classic!

Love Hydro Thunder Hurricane, one of the first games I played on Xbox. I played the free trial version off the xbox live arcade for YEARS! Bought the full thing later. It had great trial mechanics, each time you loaded up the game, your progress was reset, coins, unlocks, everything. Locked to the first three boats, but great nonetheless. I was so happy to get Portal and 2 with Gold. I got sucked into the lore of the games so hard. Played a little of the co op, lots of fun, too.

From my memory, I absolutely loved the 360 days of Gold. The only reason I got it was to play Destiny online, never would've bought anything else. Borderlands I & II were such powerhouses back in the day, I remember them being added early enough that my friend was still hyped to play Co-op with me. Played the heck outta COD III's story, absolutely loved the first Forza Horizon, Just Cause II ended up being my favorite game for a solid 7 years. Saints Row II was great for a kid that wasn't allowed to buy any GTA. Sonic had a nice kart racer on there, a bunch of star wars stuff, super meat boy, trials games.... awesome times. I think I also got Murdered, Soul Suspect on there, such a unique game, I've recommended it to so many people. It got even cooler when they had 4 games each month. Always some flops, but there always seemed to be 1 each month that was at least interesting. Early Xbox one had a good few years for it, too. I remember being so amazed by Ryse Son of Rome when that was on there, Garden Warefare 2 was a great split screen game with my brother, played a ton of slime rancher and trackmania turbo and watch dogs. Such a fun program. I don't play anymore, but my little brother does. He likes to play Sea of Thieves a lot on Game Pass. I logged in the other day, and spent a while looking around for the Games with Gold tab. Used to stop by every now and then and collect them if he hadn't already. I haven't played any of the new ones in years now, but it was still nice to add to my library, I figured my kids might like them someday. It's such a difference having a semblance of ownership over the games, seeing the number of "owned" games rise. I think i got to like 200. I know you have to have an active subscription, but at least theyll always be there. Now with Game Pass I feel like I did with those Free Play days, I hardly ever played them when Xbox wanted me to, but I did go through my old library on my own time frame... I think it's nice that the brand deals seem to last longer with Game Pass. I played Art of Rally on there last year, had a lot of fun. I even loaded up the cloud gaming last week to play Descenders, a downhill bicycling game, and I was shocked by how responsive it was. So it's not all bad, just too bad about them going away. I found almost all of my favorite games from Gold, it's a real shame to see it go. Thanks for making this timeline, I forgot so much about the system, it was nice to go back and reminisce.
