Another splendid day on the popular Alta Via 1 in the Dolomites of Northern Italy in July, 2024. The scenery doesn't disappoint and the wildflowers were abundant and gorgeous. We left Rifugio Pederü in the morning, stopping for lunch at Rifugio Fanes. Then it was just a short stroll to Rifugio Lavarella giving plenty of time to explore the immediate surroundings including Lake Green.
