EDIT : Bon j'étais dans l'erreur, suite à la vente de ma pompe de remontée Tunze 1073.50, je me suis aperçu que le débit était affiché de 1.100 - 3.000 l/h, donc c'était bien correcte haha. Ce qui explique que vouloir monter a 20/25% menait aux problèmes.
To be fair you need to rinse fluval before you just pour it into the tank and add water…. So really this isn’t a fair comparison. It’s says that on the back of the bag in the directions…
That's the the cutest little tank I've ever seen. Where did you get it?? I'd love to buy one only for the reason of putting my Betta in it for when I clean her 10 gallon. I have to put her in a cup when I do a full clean I'd prefer her to be in somthing a little bigger so she isn't stressed out.
Volcanic soil is better, the dust particles are not hurting the plants when it is volcanic. To use this stuff you have to rinse it out like it says on the package. I rinsed mine out.
Will it hurt the fish if I put them in like that? I have the same volcanic soil and I rinsed it only after I realized I had to do so before adding water, so then I dumped everything out and back in twice

PLACE A BOWL in the middle of your aquarium - yes a BOWL! Pour water slowly in this bowl. Do not fill this like a crazy person. POUR WATER IN THE BOWL and it will flow over. Go slow. Eventually the bowl will sink or float - KEEP POURING IN THE BOWL! SIT eye level. Do not assume you are pouring in the bowl! POUR IN THE BOWL! Is your water pretty clear?! Yeah THOUGHT SO. SLOW AND BOWL is the key to THIS substrate. I don't care how big your tank is. Squish the little plants, put the bowl on top and POUR! They will grow! Leave your filter on and BOOM even better by morning. Your welcome. Sincerely ME - WHO WASTED A LOT OF MONEY!

That's really neat I really like the concept of this aquatics has so many different things and avenues that you can go down you have your good products your great products and your bad products this is probably one of the best products I've seen when it comes to CO2 diffusion I would highly recommend this product

I'm actually just thinking of putting in a bucket and running water on it until it no longer is black and my bathroom I'm an American living in Taiwan and we have a drain in our bathroom because the bathrooms are set up differently

I have the 600. What do the markings along the side mean? I notice that they seem to go from lesser to greater, but can't determine what turning the outer container is supposed to adjust. The unit seems to work fine. Very little CO2 if any is being wasted. The pump is quite quiet. I placed it as recommended about 2/3 down in my 55 gallon tank. I don't use the air intakes on my regular power heads as I don't think they would provide efficient dispersion of the CO2 before it bubbled to the surface.
it won't overflow because the inlet will skimm water ony to certain level. Therfore, you just need to measure once how much water need to be in your sump and aquarium. The problem tho is when you do water changes. It takes longer to setu[ correct constant flow again.
Are there any problems with low pressure, so that the check valve does not open? Unfortunately, with my JBL Inlinediffusor, I have to raise the pressure every day to open it
oh, same for me (have the older version) every night it turns off and when it is turned on in the morning the pressure is not enough to push through it

the old one is better. The new model allows CO2 to leak into the water from both ends of the diffuser without passing by the diffuser medium. it results in big CO2 bubbles that can’t be dilluted fast enough before leaving the water outlet. When the old model clogged up, you will just need to soak it in bleach for 30mins, brush the innards with a lilypipe brush and you will be good to go for another 6 months.
Got my clogged up. soaked in bleach. Did not work. Bought a new one, that one too, shortly after got clogged up. I have it installed in the outtake. Before I had it on the intake of the canister, I worked better before and never had issues with clogging. Since I made the change outtake instead, it gets clogged. Funny! However, since bleaching worked for you, I will give it another try today.
I rinsed mines and it was cloudy. Secondly, I’m a noob but I did not pour the water like that but it end up being a mess so I did it wrong. I would recommend both products if done correctly. I need help to get ride of the Cloudy water please 😂
If u read the instructions on the fluval it litterley say to wash till clean

If you used them properly (washed the fluval softly and poured the water in as to not disturb the partials) it would have been different

Is the soil hard like rock after a long time in the water or does it get moister from the water and breaks down into fine dirt?

After I filled it up with water again it still was dark not sure how long it’ll take until this residue clears out

That's weird I experienced the exact opposite effect using these two substrates. The fluval stratum seems much less cloudy in my experience.

5 gallon tank is a Mr aqua it's got curves too it's a great tank I just can't get the soil to not turn black

Never put the adapter on the tank first , put the adapter on the regulator and then to the tank.
