Buran Ghati trip start with planning to reach the base camp itself. It starts at the ancient village of Janglik. The trail climbs out of Janglik and goes into a delightfully deep forest and then bursts into jaw dropping Dayara meadows. The trail to Litham is filled with forests and meadows. And there is the Dunda, you might have to cross streams with freezing water barefoot. If any campsite can give you the beauty of an alpine mountain zone and the thrill of a splendid climb to come, then Dunda will be among the best. After the summit you might get to rappel down and slide on the frozen glacier.
On the way to Barua you might see some narrow and dangerous sections on wooden logs and witness some loose rocks falling down.
Barua, on the other side of the pass, is a charming old village with Old houses, fruit-bearing trees, alleyways - it is a world of its own.
