Sorry to be negative but the video is much too fast so can’t follow what is happening, shot from an angle that doesn’t provide a view of what a person putting on the motor would see, doesn’t explain what all the pieces that come with it are for, doesn’t follow instructions provided (which are almost unintelligible to understand and put into practice) Now I’m hesitant to try to put this together and use for fear I might break the machine. I feel for the price point this company needs to do a better job.

My screws won't unscrew my fingers hurt from trying
When I put the motor on my Addi, it would not tighten up. It wobbled, so I tried to tighten the screw and something snapped inside, so now my Addi doesn't work at all. I ordered a replacement and I'm afraid to try and put the motor on this one. I was very careful to align the tabs but it still wobbles when I used it. Yours doesn't seem to do that. And I got 3 screws with the motor but no instruction on what to do with them.
The screws are provided as a backup. You can choose not to use the screws we supplied and instead continue using the original screws on the equipment.
I attached this to my Sentro as per the instructions. I turned it on, slowly, to see if it worked. Yes it was good. I then knitted about 15 rows at a fairly slow pace, nervous, I suppose! Suddenly the Aidiler went fly off the machine, it had shorn the screw attaching it!! Now what do I do?
Is the accessory on your sentro broken? If the accessory on the sentro is not broken, you can try to reinstall it with a slightly larger screw.
@@goldlong6958 I have the shorn off screw stuck in the Sentro so I cannot re-attach the motor
@@patd3376 The only way is to disassemble the sentro and take out the screws. If you need a new adapter I can mail one to you. Or you can tell me if you need anything from me.

What type of lubricant is used? Would you show how to disassemble, please?

Having arthritis in my right shoulder, made it painful to crank, this is the absolute best thing that I could have ever purchased!!
I am not able to screw the adapter tight to the machine. It seems that the screw that came with it is not long enough so it wobbles around a lot. So much so that at times, I'm afraid it is going to fall off.
You can try using the screws from the original machine.
Does this motor work with the Loombot 48 pin machine. I have one on my Addi 46 and love it and would love to get one for my Sentro 40 & Loombot 48. Thank you!!

Doesnt work! Got about 40-50 rows then it stopped and did a little jerky motion thing. The light comes on when the knob is on but flip the switch and it goes out. Sat here for an hour trying different things thinking i did something wrong but it doesnt seem like it. Sending back.

The same thing happened to me. My spouse used a little hand saw and cut 4 slits from the screw out like a cross. It actually broke the screw, and he could then take the handle off. I preemptively bought a replacement handle, but they way he cut it off worked perfectly, and the handle can be screwed back on if I want.

Why don’t you have an addi motor how to install? The packaging did show the screw mounting it to the addi - and that’s a worry as it’s a screw into the plastic part of the machine. I had to add a small washer into the plastic component for a more first connect to the machine body. This video is on lubricating the plastic cogs etc. no mention on the recommended products (can they be oil based or do they need to be non-oil silicone lube?) or when to re-lube the plastic parts - what to look for etc.
You only need to disassemble the machine and oil it when you feel that the sound of the machine has become louder. The oil in it is made of high temperature resistant grease
