May I make another suggestion to improve your site? It would be great when starting out ( and in the middle of a long road) to add “ Heading North “ or whatever direction. You could also state the name of notable areas and buildings that come into view( university, any hospital, etc) . The cross street signs that come into view are almost legible but not enough pixels. Thanks for cutting out the red lights and waiting time!

Lived 8 years in Hinton and was spending a lot of time in Jasper and the park!

Edmonton appears to have zero traffic. You certainly picked a day with a dramatic alberta sky.

I remember the good old days when i would ramp my car on the hill past waterdale bridge and get butterflies in my stomach

Just drove that street today, oct.19, 2024. New road construction but that is it.

I drive 127 daily.. since i live on 128 street.. and shop at superstore / sobeys / save-on.... Nice little drive... have a good one

Thanks for the video. In your opinion, how comfortable do you rate driving on Edmonton roads? Do drivers often break the rules or create dangerous situations?

September and October drives in Edmonton are the best. Another awesome drive-around video! Can’t wait to be in Edmonton in October! I see Whyte Avenue at 6:30. I remember when I lived in Edmonton back in the early 2000s to 2010, I used to go to Whyte Avenue by the U of A on Friday and Saturday nights. One Friday night, I brought my girlfriend and her little 5 year-old son there and as we were walking down the street two rowdy drunken young guys walked by us and began to yell. Her little boy was so scared, so I stepped between the drunkards and my girlfriend’s child to protect him as he was nearest to them. The two young drunkards turned and looked at me, so I pumped my shoulders up and down, flexed my physique and muscled up to scare them. It worked. Lol. The two teenagers shut up and said “Have a good day Sir.” My girlfriend’s child was shaking a bit, so I held his little hand and gave him a wink of reassurance. He looked up at me and smiled. My girlfriend too. 😂. Memories of Whyte 2010!

Hi love your videos. Lived in Edmonton 41 years before moving to Vancouver. Have not been back in 20 years so love seeing the changes. Use to live in Oliver area. Jasper and 116 street so love it when you pass through the area and of course downtown. Thank you to for making the videos.
