Good for you, for informing the driver of the state of the window. Some passengers might not have said anything. But I reckon it's a pretty decent thing to do. Fair enough the driver may already be aware but of course you don't really know if he is so always good idea to check & just make him aware.
WOW! This was a long time ago now 😅 But I remember that I told the bus driver that the back left upstairs window was smashed he did say he wasn’t aware of it and then said thank you to me for letting him know. What I did find strange was that Stagecoach Bus allowed the bus to continue along the route but the upper deck of the bus was closed off. I thought they would have taken the bus off service to get the window fixed and put another bus on to replace it. ✌️🙏

Why is it strange? Quite often we leave buses and get ourselves back to depot. No point sitting with it to wait for recovery truck
Ant Ellis It's strange because in Chichester they tend to leave the buses unattended especially this late in the evening.
Mr B's Knees we leave buses where ever we have to. If it's broken and won't move then boarhunt rescue it when there free to. There's no point a driver or engineer sitting with a bus all night if boarhunt won't pick up til next morning or whenever there free
