Just a bunch of random things. Not out for views, popularity or payment, just here to show off things I enjoy that I think others would also like.
Landing in St. Louis, taxi to gate
Landing in St. Louis from Wichita on 10-5-24. Didn't get the takeoff on this video, as it was still dark when we left Wichita. Southwest Flight 400.

This was originally the idea of @hackfreehvac . He posted it on an HVAC forum many years ago. I really liked the idea, and made one myself, and it has been fantastic for flushing out condensate lines on HVAC systems. Before, I was just dumping water down the lines and hoping for the best, or dragging a nitrogen tank up into attics to blow out a clogged drain line. This is so much easier. The co...

Kerry and Mark and Mark were very generous and gave us a tour of their TriStar and ran up the engines for us. This is a video of the engine run ups from the cockpit on 10-10-20. Be sure to check out the vidio of the run ups from the outside of the aircraft.

Hurricane Irene Documentary from my apartment
มุมมอง 4213 ปีที่แล้ว
Took some video throughout Hurricane Irene that hit on Aug. 27th and 28th, 2011. Wind started around 4am here in southeastern CT, but most of the damage did not occur until after 7am. This was taken from my apartment in Groton, Connecticut.

Clips from each Dance I DJ'd over the summer of 2010 at a campground in Connecticut.
I want one of those
All fun and games until someone forgets to glue a fitting 😂😂😂
Absolutely beautiful! I just love 💕 these great machines!
She flew on 12/28/22 from Graham, TX to Grand Prairie, TX.
I wonder if that’s going to be its final flight
Love the rumble of the RB-211s.
Dude, that Steve story is hilarious!
Wath would yoy do without a FE i have more than 1200 hrs as a first officer in a old former Delta 500 model

Delta used these from LAX to Honolulu in their final days. Was lucky enough to do that loop a few times but they sure were raggedy by then, patches all over the wings etc....Still my fav wide body
We look at all the FMS, EFIS & Displays of today....but the L-1011 had the earliest or first commercially flying FMS and a true Horizontal Situation indicator display wayyyy before (TWA & Saudia had it). I flew jump seat on those birds a few times.
N910TE is clearly in good enough condition to run its engines, but how come they haven’t flown her in quite some time and kept her airworthiness certificate?
There’s another TH-cam video of it taking off in 2017
@@AMF96 I know. That’s what I mean. The last time she flew was in 2017 for her ferry flight from TUS-MCI.
@@fredricgreenblott4169 It's really expensive, and parts are very hard to get. Though, that might be less of an issue now that the Tristars in the UK have been broken up and parted out.
I wish it could be flown to Atlanta Georgia. A lot of people at Delta would love to see it.
Decommission of L-1011 was a crime😥I'm engineer of these beautifull plane. My opinnion Tristar was the most advanced plane ever build. Many thanks to the famos video. BRGD:
Do you mean you used to be a flight engineer on the plane or were you a member of the original engineers of the aircraft
@@infinitesoulpartyband577 I was engineer on L-1011 BRGD
@@martinschwingenheuer1901 Wow Sir!! My hats off to you. Can you tell us more about the MDLC on the L-1011? Ive always been fascinated with the Direct Lift Concept and how it contributed to smooth Descent rates on final. Also do you think some rich person could buy one now and fly it?
For a moment I thought it was Joe Walsh in the pilot's seat!
Beautiful aircraft, great to seee Enthusiasts preserving the bird.
Hopefully at least one of these gets preserved in good condition. I saw one in Ottawa from across the field a few years ago with the wings cut off from the landing gear outwards and no engines parked near the fire station. A couple years later I went through and it was gone. Only one I ever saw.
I love hearing pilot stories and their history of flying on various equipment!!
Born before her time and died way too soon. L-1011, rumor has it when your time on earth is done, they fly you to heaven in a L-1011.
That's one LOOOOOONG engine spool up....
Tristar till the end!!! And may Lockheed Martin come back with something like this but new!!!
Is it airworthy?
It's out of annual.
i can't believe that L-1011 still flying today!
That one isn't.
Only on left operational. Stargazer operated in the US by Northrop Grumman to launch satellites.
@@ryankenyon5010 It doesent fly but it still airwothy
Very nice, I always wondered if they fired this Tristar up from time to time, now I know!
