How exactly ? Taylor Point has now been closed off to Moore Street access
la3.com.au/project/northern-beaches-leisure-trail/ It's not built yet but it has been planned by the council. They aim to make a walkable track all the way from Cairns CBD to Palm Cove. This new pathway was just Phase 1 in this project.

people need to realize most of the snorkeling around the island is sea grass...not coral reefs.
The green forest part of the island is beautiful, but crowded with daily tourist visitors. and sadly, the corals are 80% devastated into rubble. Too many tourists day trips have ruined the reefs with snorkeling.
First time I went on 2012 it was beautiful, still very colourful, but a lot has changed
That beach isn’t on double island it’s Eli’s beach on mainland north of island
😂😂👌….i had a hawk go after my mini 4 pro but I seen it coming., I had it in FPV mode., hit sport mode and went straight up., hit fumble down as I was recording…got the best footage of a hawk trying to fly straight up it was hilarious 😂…it gave up after 20 ft

@@andrewfreiji4647 not really any waves, only in winter really. They are very warm, one beach is good for wind surfing, Palm Cove or Ellis beach are nice, sometimes crystal clear blue water, other times muddy. the islands are always beautiful.
@@Globetraveladventures How dangerous is it to go swimming between crocodiles, jellyfish, blue ringed octopus, etc?
The jellyfish are there more in summer, in my 3 years there I was never stung, I was out on boats almost every second day, in and out of the water. Cairns is beautiful place, although very high crime rate with local youth. You have a higher chance of your car getting stolen than seeing any crocodiles
