Why do people keep saying that? My volume settings are at less than half of max settings on my PC and on Discord, and I can hear it just fine.

Well, I appreciate you saying that (which is a genuine statement), though it definitely strikes me as bizarre given that the newest player in Steel Talons is a viewer who likely wouldn't have wanted to join if he couldn't hear what was going on in the videos, and I asked a family member tonight and she said she could hear it. So... I honestly don't know, man, but as I said, I appreciate you bringing it up. I'll see about boosting the audio somehow.

I could, or I mean, you could just follow the steps in the video to recreate it (or any character, for that matter) yourself? That was the whole point of the video.

@@codybgamin I get that, it’s just I need it for a test animation that has to be done by this friday, and I have many tests I need to study for 😭. I’m going to make different test animations, where I will use this video to help me! But it would help me out a lot if just for this one you could give me the cody link!

Turn up your volume, I guess? At full volume on YT, it sounds just fine (for both players and GMs), at least on my end, and especially given that on my end, I can hear it fine despite my audio settings on most apps being turned down to about a quarter of max volume.

It was Kane's Wrath Reloaded, if memory serves. It gives you the ability to start with more resources (100k versus 40k), so we started out with lots of resources... and TJ ran out. I haven't played Tiberium Essence, but I really want to.

Keep in mind this was uploaded in 2024, but _recorded_ in 2018, not to mention that I didn't have the best PC and editing settings, _and_ above all else, it's Tiberium Wars, which came out in 2007.

@@codybgamin TW coming out in 2007 doesn't mean much. It supports resolutions higher than that natively. Not sure why you said "above all else" that. The only relevant detail is that you don't have the best editing skills, and that's perfectly fine, I can't even do what you did.

@@NicaNicu31 Well, lesson learned, I guess. At the time, I didn't think much of it, and given that the video is meant to be a compilation of funny commentary rather than ULTRA HIGH-RES 4K GAMEPLAY!!!, it troubles me that _that's_ what people are fixating on.

While I appreciate the interest, the techniques I showed in this video should be applicable to any TD character. Doing the exact same tutorial for multiple characters seems kind of pointless to me.

The actual game is in the title of the video. The software we're using to play the game is Foundry VTT, a virtual tabletop platform that works for a multitude of systems, including all three that I have videos of on my channel (Alien: The Roleplaying Game, Twilight: 2000, and Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars RPG).

My memory of any mention of Hold Your Nerve during this session is a blur, but if I said that, that wouldn't be the first time I misspoke in such a situation. That said, Hold Your Nerve is another fantastic stress/panic mitigation talent, though the Talons definitely would've benefitted from it more much earlier on in the campaign.

I had a feeling that was the case - I know that's how it is in Twilight: 2000, but I was searching for the actual ruling in both the .PDF and the in-game handouts, and I didn't see it.

Exactly. The meta modus operandi of this campaign has been that when the players are voting on jobs out-of-game, they'll receive a briefing packet in-game that typically gives a decent amount of info to go off of, which would generally alleviate the need for heavy questioning, but also potentially leave some blanks that need to be filled in in-person. Also, if I said that FTL comms don't exist (I don't remember if I did or not), what I mean is what you pointed out re: the line in Aliens. I think the core rulebook even mentions that as well. At any rate, I'd also like to thank you for tuning in. Hope the whole video is enjoyable.

Hey there! Sorry for the delayed response. In terms of what modules I have active as of the most recent session of Interstellar Marines: - Twilight: 2000 Core Set - Combat Enhancements - Dice So Nice! - Drag'n'Transfer - libWrapper - Maestro - PopOut! - Reverse Initiative Order* - Settings Extender - Token Auras * (I have since taken out RIO and added Year Zero Engine - Combat in its place, since it not only has the RIO functionality built in, it also has a bunch of other useful functions for T2K and other Free League games [you can see it in use in my Alien RPG Steel Talons videos during combat encounters]. I highly recommend getting that one in place of RIO; I just listed what I had at the time of Interstellar Marines.)

I've done that in newer episodes, albeit with the Token Auras module.

When he was talking about doing that, I really just thought of what you've made your NPCs try and do to the party's vehicles in the games you run. Either way, grenades are worthless in this game, so it probably wouldn't have worked if his plan was to lob a frag into the walker.

Glad to hear you're enjoying them. In answer to your questions, I do have the final episodes recorded and still have those recordings, but I haven't gotten around to uploading those yet (but I will, even though I'm way overdue). The biggest holdup is the fact that I've figured out that my current PC's RAM capacity is insufficient for this sort of thing (and therefore means editing and exporting take ages), but I'm upgrading to a better PC, and once that's all set up, I hope to crank out the rest of the Crucible episodes, since they were really entertaining.

Sorry for the confusion (and the late reply) - when I mention factoring in the attribute and the skill, what I meant is that when making the skill roll, you're rolling the corresponding dice types, as you said. I didn't mean for that to be as unclear as it apparently was. The "factoring in" basically means that for example, if your skill has a rating of D and your attribute is rating B, you're rolling a d6 + a d10. Hope that makes sense and is helpful.

Absolutely. If not for that challenge card, I doubt we could've completed it. They definitely did difficulty better than Aliens: Colonial Marines did.

I truthfully don't remember how _exactly_ I got it other than from the T2K Discord server. You might be able to find it or one similar to it there, or download it from Free League if they uploaded one to their site, or if you're playing on Roll20 or Foundry, the former has a community-made game system with sheets and the latter was chosen by Free League as their official module platform, and it too has sheets.
