      @@DIYWITHADD Thank you. I certainly moved forward but ran out of light. The fan would have been out of the car in 25 mins..... But, there is a structure mounting the steering wheel and dashboard that is just not giving enough clearance to maneuver the fan out from underneath even though the fan is outside it's housing. I have dismantled much of the whole dash board. I will continue when it is light and not raining. But thank you for the video, despite my set back, I am still very grateful that you went to the trouble of making it, and I have found it very useful

    • @DIYWITHADD
      @DIYWITHADD 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I only used liqui moly because the synchromesh in the gearbox on my car is worn. If your gearbox does not fail, I would recommend that you use the oil prescribed by your owner's manual, which usually describes which type your car should use. But all manual gearboxes that use regular gearbox oil can use it. I think your car needs Manual transaxle oil (API GL-4) 75W-80 But a gear oil with GL-5 is better. Thanks for whatching

    This is awesome and i will probably be trying it out for myself soon. I had one question however, if i skip the top fan and only use the fan on the end of the pipe how would it affect the overall fresh air exchange? im going to put one of these in my living room above a window so i cant have any parts protruding.

    • @DIYWITHADD
      @DIYWITHADD 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, if you only want to have 1 fan on and it must not take up any space, then it is just an exhaust and it will also contribute to fresh air, especially if you live in an older house that is not completely sealed, then more air will come in the places where doors and windows are not tight. But in the winter you have to have a way to close it off, these little fans can't keep the wind out either if it blows against them outside, but there are solutions. Thanks for whatching

    Half inch aluminum flexible electrical conduit seems like it would work considerably better as far as efficiency and is cheap and widely available. It's ridged and smaller which would create a lot more turbulence with the air.

    Hey, would be nice if you could help out with an issue I've been having on my 2006 Note E11, the fan used to be sporadic but one day it just completely died, I've tested the motor and it's working, but when I measure the voltage coming to the fan motor, it seems low (around 8-11V, no matter how high or low the fan speed is set on the climate control), to add to it, the fan was changed a while ago and it didn't fix the issue, could it definitively be the resistor card?

    • @DIYWITHADD

    Add-ons: a solar air-heat box of choice, added to exterior intake; warms & can filter incoming air. ALTERNATE SIZING: use wider diameter culvert pipe, to fit in many more of the small exchange tubes, twisted, & longer. Can then use common box fans to move the air. The fittings would maybe be trickier, but T-connectors are available. This would work well for larger rooms. This design shown, tho, makes it so easy to make air-exchangers for single rooms! Could use one on sunny wall for winter use, by putting the intake pipe into a solar-air-heat box… & a 2nd one, longer, on shaded wall for summer to help cool, by right-angling the intake pipe outside, elongated down towards the ground, pulling air from a shade-cooled filter box near ground.
