Yes, Bali is located below the equator, in the southern hemisphere, at 8° south of the equator. Bali has two distinct seasons, a dry season from May to September, and a wet season. The best time to visit Bali depends on your travel goals. The dry season, from April to October, is ideal for beach vacations and outdoor activities because of its warm, sunny days and low humidity. The shoulder season, from April to June and September to October, is quieter without the crowds and the weather is usually still dry enough for outdoor activities. The wet season is for fewer crowds and giant waves. When I say June and May are good, because of the following reasons - 1. Summer vacations for kids, which is ideal for families. 2. These are the driest months, So a little heat is better than rainfall. temperature is 20-31°C which is bearable, and trust me you will love the temperature of water in swimming pools or while doing any water activity. 3. Bali's temperature stays the same throughout the year. And yes, September and October are also fine, If you are traveling in that month go ahead, you will not regret it. But you may face rainfall. If you are female solo traveller, kuch precautions toa lene chaiye…. Its a party island, so there are high chances ki late ho jaayega aapko…. When you will be cycling from harbour to your hotel in night, there are high chances ki you will be going through dark and isolated areas…. I remember it was 1 am and i was going to hotel alone, there was a place on the way, it was totally dark, no street lights, only moonlight was there. At that particular place, road is in bad condition and it’s totally covered with sea sand, you can’t ride cycle there… I mean it was totally a bhootiya environment, just imagine, no street lights, no person, only you hear sounds of sea waves, and it’s moonlight, and a path fully covered with sand, not easy to walk in sand, but you have to drag your cycle also.. 1. Not recommended for female solo, not because of any bad experience, just because of infrastructure and less developed area where street lights are also not there… 2. If you still wana go, explore more in day time, find your stay/hotel near harbour.
