    this is the best review I’ve watched on the 3p and it took me awhile because of the title you gave it. But in reality the wind noise isn’t that bad. Try not to lets the cryers get to you. Nice work. I’m thinking hard about getting this tent. The weight is the only thing I am trying to come to grips with.

    • @backpackbros8407
      @backpackbros8407 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yo thanks for the compliments! You’re a real one. I try not to let them get to me but the tent is a fortune and I don’t want anyone in the dark about specs on it. As far as weight goes I just assume I’m splitting it with someone else. If you’re soloing with it, then you’ll def have the mansion on the hill if you got the legs to get it there.

      So REI says minimum trail weight is 3.12 but the packed weight is 4.5. I think you can get rid of all of the bags and footprint and it will be less weight but you run the risk of cutting the bottom of it on a rock.

      Neither insightful nor correct. In the past five years I've owned a Big Agnes Rattlesnake 2P, a Marmot Fortress UL 2P, a Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 2 and the Nemo Dagger OSMO 2P. The Dagger is my primary tent and the most complete tent of them all. It's the only one with the Jake's Foot connection system, with a rectangular floor, with a trapezoidal (vs. triangular) vestibule area and while this review doesn't include those features, their OSMO rain fly and Landing Zone are features that are both unique and valuable to me. All of these tents had unique characteristics I loved: the Rattlesnake's MTNGlo lighting; the Copper Spur's massive storage pockets; the Fortress' full 3+ season fabric walls. I'm not saying the Dagger is the "best"; that's subjective and based on a user's needs. But it ain't just like every other tent.
