This Trailfinder 2 started as an Almost Ready To Run (ATR) build. I chose this model for several reasons. First of all, the doors, hood, and tailgate all open. Secondly, the body factory painted color (Ohio State scarlet red) would enable adding the I disassembled it completely and rebuilt it to accommodate the RC4WD V-8 engine shell that houses the 540 electric motor. The first picture slows the white body of the Tamiya Cascadia body next to the drawing of the cab dimensions. I used these figures to determine how to fit the coach body that would hold 4 slide outs (one each for the kitchen/eating nook, sofa, bed, and wardrobe). This is a 1:10 scale 1985 Toyota pick-up built from an RC4WD kit. I have modified the truck with many upgrades, such as: suspension is now 4 link with coil-over shocks, hardened steel drive shafts. This is a 1:14 scale radio controlled model of a Renegade RV Super C class motorhome. Renegade RV of Bristol, Indiana builds the real thing. The Freightliner Cascadia cab and chassis are a Tamiya kit that I stretched 6" in front of and 6" behind the rear axles to accommodate the coach.
