Thanks for your comment Troy. This was my first time playing in Vegas and I was a lot more nervous than I would've liked. I ended up playing way too slow and think I made the game harder than needed sometimes. These days I'm trying to play quicker and find a nice rhythm but do miss now and then cos I rushed shots a little - need to find the right balance; shoot as quick I can when it's straightforward but still giving shots the focus they deserve.

Hey Lee - thanks for the comment. This was shot with the DJI Osmo Pocket... a phenomenal little camera that packs a punch, capturing really clean 4K video in "D-log Cinelike" which allows for the application of LUT's to boost the highlights and shadows and saves the video in .mov format, with less compression than the more recent Osmo Pocket 2, which only writes .MP4 files and so isn't as clear. I've since invested in the Obsbot Tail Air camera which is superior in that it allows live-streaming and wireless set-up, which is a real bonus. Compare this video with some of my more recent Livestreams and let me know what you think. All the best, Mike

Yes it's because it was at the BCA Worlds. That was 2023, my first time in at the event and I recorded a bunch of my matches, which I edited a while later and posted sequentially. I guess the algorithm picked me up and recommended a few videos to people and they got a few thousand views.

Gracias El Jefe! For sure watching yourself playing is invaluable to see exactly what it is you're doing, with good and bad. I make notes with screenshots on my phone when reviewing so I end up with a short list of shots I want to work on and any technical faults I notice that need ironing out...

Ken does those type of shots all the time, he's very good at caroms, billiards and combos, especially for the money ball!

It's a very real phenomenon. On the plus side, if you ever do get a win against a Murphy, then to an extent, you can get the monkey off your back and be free to play better the next time you meet.

Not sure that's the source of my inaccuracy... ... Ronnie O'Sullivan drops his elbow and he's the GOAT - it's his sweet, pure strike that makes him one of the best cue men in the world.

@@tnross23 actually they do put LITTMAN lights above every table, if you look closely you can see them, very bright LED lights as well so illumination and visibility is good… as for room round tables, they have over 300 tables to install and do a great job of creating playing areas separated from walkways etc.

@@mothlikeTV they didn’t last week in Michigan state championship, I never thought to ask before registering and it was rough. I heard they do in the Ohio tournament??

I can see them in this video, u would think it would be a standard in all higher level tournaments.

@@tnross23 I wouldn't know, this is the annual CSI / BCA event the the Rio in Vegas... Think the State championships here in CA is done in association with APA rather than BCA...

Which instance is this you're talking about? The hit at 54:45 is a clean hit on the 6-ball, a stripe dropped in the pocket and both the cue ball and the 6 looked like they hit the rail also after contact
