Hey Lynnette, thanks for the comment. Things are wild right now, insecurities around job, health and other bits are up in the air. Hence taking some time in these winter months to be social online with some World of Warcraft. Respect the opinion but you really think Max could do anything like what Derrick does at 2:40? And don't bring up the fact that he plays guitar he mentioned himself that he doesn't like playing guitar and he's not very good at it anymore. I agree their material hasn't been the best since Roots (though I think Quadra is actually pretty good and pays good homage to the thrash period of Sepultura) but you gotta admit compared to how lazy Max gets live nowadays Derrick saved the band's live performances.

well in my opnion you just like max balls, because in every fuking album there's a masterpice, if you don't like kamaitachi, sepulnation or kairos whatever, maybe you just don't like music at all

@@misplaymay Not after the show, it went bad some time before it but Thomas stuck around for the show. They fired him and said that Bloodstock was gonna be his last show with Gloryhammer

Hey Mark, Couple of things from my perspective... 1, I was really far back, like adjacent to the mixing desk, there were a fair amount of pits and headbangers, my stoned ass couldn't hack getting that close though :P 2, I think this was the first live event for 99% of the crowd for over 18 months, the whole covid thing hadn't gone away, so I think it was less 'bouncy' than usual probs because people were still finding their comfort amongst crowds again. Crowd was definitely connecting with the live music though, big roaring cheers and inside the tents on 2nd/3rd stages they were going wild. Looking back at the vid, I see what you mean tho, but trust me man, when I was there it felt very much alive if you get me.

Def Good you mention this Dani often isnt done justice with what they give him audio wise His vocal range has octave only a really good microphone can pick up. Some people will complain about their quality when in reality its causs his quality is so good that it takes professional equipment to truly have it shine

Gonna head to Finland when all calms down. The guitarist and his then wife of Sarcofagus moved to my small town in England some years back and I got so many stories of the Finnish metal scene. 😎

I prefer the tempo that was used when Ripper was in the band. Not too slow, but not the 80s rushed sound either.

@@iqm4574 Right? It's the best of both worlds. They played that tempo when Rob came back into the band, but have steadily gone the slower album tempo.
