Hands down the best & cleanest install video for a Rivian running board.
Just too expensive.
Your link directs to a 404 page lol
Which grade of impact wrench did you use? I am finding mid torque and high torque options. Would the mid torque like the Milwaukee 2962 (650 ft-lbs breakaway torque) be enough to remove the frame bolts or does it need the high torque version? Thank you.
How much? Website? Thanks
2024 R1S passenger side install is little bit tricky, need to remove 6 T20 screws of the wheelwell and then you will be able to locate the factory horn. Also make sure the connection behind the horn are plugged in correctly mine was loose and was not working. Spend 44 minutes to make all wires were connected properly and then found out the wire was loose.
Im pretty sure it blocks the camera completely from front view
No good
Hi RealWheels EV, I love your content! I'm interested in discussing a potential collaboration. Could you let me know the best way to reach you? Thanks!😊
Come on now, it is a metric truck in a metric automotive world an you use British engineering bolts and nuts???
Should use this design to make the ultimate bug defender
This looks absolutely so fucking stupid I can't even begin to count the ways
Great, added for what?
What is the point for this add on?
to make your truck look stupid? idk i would never put that on my truck
The first time ot gets bumped by another vehicle the bolts will snap,. Ugly .
The deployable running boards would be nice.
Do you need liquid loc-tite to ensure that the bolts do not become loose over time?
That’s horrible looking
Why is this bar tubular in design while the cyber truck is angular? The design looks terrible and out of place. Thanks but no thanks!
bumper for bumper
2 3/8 dia bolts holding it on? You have got to be kidding me. That thing is purely cosmetic.
This is absolute garbage 🗑️
you need one for the tow truck as well
Good video and good product! I added these to a 2024 R1S and panel 3 had no ribs. (Panel 1 does not have a second rib.) If you’re adding to a R1S you’ll have to dry fit panel 3 and mark the location of the ends of the bracket. Alternatively, use can use panel 2 to locate the drill locations on panel 3. Also, pay attention to which end of the panel they are measuring from. Measure twice, cut once!
Got mine today and installed it. It was ‘almost’ as easy as the video. The clip on the frame gave me a little trouble but overall very happy with the product. Sounds great.
Wonder how much range is lost with these.
Good question!
@@notsecure @AI-Driven-Entrepreneur Thanks for the question. We have not noticed any change in range or efficiency. The Rivian community has been adding running boards for a couple of years and have the same results, not real change compared to not adding the running boards.
100K and it doesn't have them already? hahahaha..... One born every minute, I guess. Ellen is such a scammer.
Love these. ❤❤ Wish they were more competitively priced. I would expect to pay $1,300+ for automatic running boards.
Thank you for the feedback. If we made them using regular carbon steel they would be less expensive, but they also wouldn't last the same way that these will being stainless steel. These will last as long as your Cybertruck does basically worry free.
Very nice! Would love electronic deployable version as well.
Thank you
Great video! Very easy to understand. Great job with the amazing design. I will be ordering soon
Thanks for the clear, detailed instructions!
Thanks for the video.
Just bought one for my R1S. I bought the dual horn wire version. Any tips for that one?
You guys should sell the harness, as stand alone kits for those of us that already have a second horn on hand. This is awesome
this video was perfect guys! thanks so much for putting this together and R&D'ing that harness; now i'm not embarassed to honk my horn!
Video instructions worked well, much easier for me to follow than the printed instructions, thanks! For anyone watching deciding if this is a good buy, go for it! The bracket and pre-wiring was very well made and convenient. Sure, you could DIY a little cheaper but it would take longer and require a lot of tinkering and fitting; totally worth the small premium. The sound of the horn is much deeper than comes across in this video and the other reviews I’ve seen online. I like it. It’s like a deep train/truck horn.
Hey, I gotta say this was one of the most simple and well edited/produced install vids I've seen.✅ It's a great companion to the included paper instructions. Sidenote- the paper instructions are helpful, but the pictures/figures are a bit on the darker side.❕ I've had this truck apart a number of times, so I didn't rely on installation instructions other than to make sure I didn't miss anything. I saw the link to this video on the instructions, decided to check it out, and was thoroughly impressed by your effort. Well done. The kit you put together is refreshingly robust and well designed.🦾 Now I sound like a choo-choo. Maybe I'll install a pull-chain actuator above the driver's seat, just like a big rig. I know the kids will love it, 😅
