    You where not lucky with Lucky in this video! AI is far from becomming sentient. It's obvious that a computer still don't understand what is going on when making a video. Suddenly a third ear will grow out in the forehead. Maybe in 15 years it can happen, but not likely. For now it's just fancy programing. Invest in your self in such a way that you work less and have more free time, because time is the most valuable thing in life. Money and things are only important when you don't have it. When you have it, it means nothing and all you want is more time.

    Why can’t AI still have critical thinking? Or will it ever have?

    • @HeliaandLucky
      @HeliaandLucky 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Very good question, I really enjoy the type of question you ask, it makes me think too! AI can have critical thinking depending on the model you use, the feedback or data your model gets and other factors, but if you are referring to AI being conscious, it is all math and math is the language of the world, we are basically communicating with universe through math and AI is translating it for us!

    • @johnodei618
      @johnodei618 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@HeliaandLucky yeah I was thinking like what human brain does when referring to critical thinking, like when you judge a though or action not if it is right or wrong but in a manner like what is behind the black sky 🌌 type of judgement. I don’t know if AI can get this kind of sentimental judgement, it doesn’t have a heart ❤️, maybe math can solve the simulation we live in, but it can’t solve the urge to find our purpose in the equation or the feeling of love and joy

    I don't normally comment on videos, but I have some thoughts on this one. I'm sorry, but this is going to be lengthy. You asked for opinions at the beginning of the video, so I have a mini-essay to give. I think there is a lot of misinformation and misunderstanding on this subject, so there's a lot that I feel like I need to cover. First, this is a bit irrelevant, but I love your videos on Intel ISA and mathematics. You come across as a very reasonable and rational person, which I think is oddly absent in many tech spaces. I was worried when I saw the title of this video, but I'm relieved by the content. You proved that you are, indeed, as rational as I had thought you were. I think you're missing a few pieces here, but you're on the right track. For starters, the term "woman" might be used in biology, but it's used in ways that can be self-contradictory. Here you're explaining what biologists refer to as "chromosomal sex" when you discuss XX and XY chromosomal pairs, and biologists might call an XX pairing female. There's a problem with this classification system, though, because there's also "anatomical sex," which refers to what set of primary and secondary sex characteristics someone's body has. In the majority of cases, someone's chromosomal sex will match their anatomical sex. However, this is not always true. Someone can be born with female anatomy and actually have XY chromosomes, due to an intersex condition, and they might never know unless they have their genes sequenced. It's rare, but it happens. We still usually call that person a woman, outside of very specific contexts in biology where the chromosomes are more relevant than the anatomical sex. Chromosomal sex has a bit of a narrow, contextual use in practice because of this. Yet we can't just say that anatomical sex is the most relevant factor in determining "womanhood," either, because people can be born with the sex characteristics of both sexes or in some in-between state. Again, this is due to a variety of intersex conditions. Someone who is born this way might undergo involuntary surgery in infancy in order to force their body to look more like one sex or the other, because they technically don't fit either category. Even before these surgeries happened, most people born this way were still forced into one of those binary categories (man/woman), but it was based on something else entirely. It was based on what the people around them decided they were, or sometimes what they identified more as, not what their actual biological sex was. In fact, you could have two people with the same intersex condition that were both "socialized" as different genders, one a man and one a woman, based entirely on biologically irrelevant influences. This alone pretty much demonstrates that the idea of a "woman" is not strictly based on biology and never really has been. It's not a major redefinition to recognize this. The clearest way of describing this situation is that gender and sex are separate things. "Woman" refers to gender, not sex. Gender is studied in social psychology. Some people say that it's a social construct, but people don't seem to know what that means. Just because something is a social construct, that doesn't mean it isn't real. A chair is a social construct, too, because it's partially defined as something that we use to sit on. It's defined partially by how it interacts with other things. That's all a "social construct" is. So gender is a social construct, but it's still real. That's why transgender people can exist, and it's why transgender people are studied in psychology and sociology rather than biology. You are completely right that "woman" cannot be so straightforwardly defined as "someone with an XX chromosomal pair." You're right that the actual matter has become increasingly complicated as the field of biology has developed its understanding. The truth of the matter is unavoidably messy and nuanced.

    The question should be: do females exist? A woman is a human female. I wouldn't compare mathematics and biology, it's comparing apples and oranges. Mathematics is not a science, it's a tool used by the sciences. On the other hand all science is subject to interpretation by the scientist. One should not be discouraged from challenging old ideas, but one must also take extreme care when insisting that old ideas should be replaced with something else. Many old ideas withstood the test of time through natural selection and trying to brute force your way into a new paradigm can have catastrophic consequences.

    • @seannsutton6209
      @seannsutton6209 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Natural selection just means that whatever survives is able to be passed on. It's a highly inefficient mechanism and, even in nature, it leads to many erroneous and even maladaptive features, simply because they weren't enough of a problem to cause that species to go extinct. We have better methods of figuring out what works than generational trial-and-error.

  • @carydriscoll2942
    @carydriscoll2942 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yes, women do exist. They are human females. No other species has them. They have females, but they don't have women. Men who think they are women do exist, but they are also an insult to every woman alive, erroneously claiming to be just as much of a woman as you are. I'm not sure why you would consider coddling rather than helping such individuals and preventing the femmenization of men. Chromosomes dont exist because we discovered them. They have always been. Keep thinking about it. You are only able to do so because you are human rather than anything else. Of course my view is a bit hasher I guess because I'm looking at this from a man's perspective.

  • @DISASTERJOE

    Infinity cannot be represented as a number, which you are illustrating with your explanation of an infinity number. Infinity is a mathematical abstraction for thinking about what happens when numbers get extremely large or extremely small. It's like a human trying to imagine what a black hole looks like. We aren't equipped to do that.

    • @HeliaandLucky
      @HeliaandLucky 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I don't think I represented infinity as "a" number, and thinking of number getting too small or too big doesn't define infinity, I'm assuming you are not familiar with limits.
