I use my CC to pay for everything and have saved my cash back since 2021. I’m taking a completely cash back trip. No money out of paychecks or pockets. I call it a win. I earned gift cards through Shopkicks also. Getting coffee cards through Fetch and gas money through Upside. Extra hack, you could have bought discounted Disney gift cards, paid for your pass with them and saved even more money. The people complaining saying it’s not a hack, probably carry a balance on their CC’s. That’s why they don’t consider it free money. I wish I had a Disney friend to take trips with to share the cost of the hotel rooms and gas. I’m going solo though which is something I’ve always wanted to do. Although I do have a family trip coming up also. The solo trip is the one that’s cash back funded plus I used the cash back to get discounted Disney gift cards so I feel like I’m really winning. I don’t care what the nay sayers think. The hotel rooms are outrageous though. Look forward to your comparison on the different hotel options. Thought about staying off property, but figure solo is safer on property.

We always say the same about party day - super low crowds!! Thunder mountain in Paris is way more intense, you go under a lake to get the the ‘mountain’ and it’s sooo much fun!

Still remember the first time we went to Disney, like 1976? you had tickets, like local Carnivals or fairs. We did the Haunted Mansion, still remember as we were going in the elevator going down, the kid in front of my mom had a Peter Pan hat on and the feather brushed her and screamed bloody murder. It was SO funny, I was 10 and that still makes me laugh. The Tiki Room, Pirates, The River Boat and interaction with me and Chip and Dale. I still have my Disney Cup from then.

I’m so excited that you have a Disney Channel. I just love it when it when you have your grandkids. Disney is one of my most favorite places to go .

You are lucky you have the time and money to travel. Disney is very expensive for most people I know.

I am a FL resident and get the Pirate Pass, which still is a chunk of change compared to the old Silver pass. I try to pick up discounted Disney gift cards where I can throughout the year. 10-15% back on merchant offers on credit cards, Sams, BJs sales, etc. And use those to pay for the pass renewal and Fort Wilderness campsites for the RV!

Darling baby, happy for you guys, It pays to put on you patient pants when you go to Disney. I always pay the price when I forget to pack them.

If I didn't live in MI I'd consider an annual pass BUT no way worth the travel cost. Nice to see what's included. Oh Lordt I can't sit on the ground, I'd never get up. Seriously, so thanks for this. My husband and I did the drive once from central Louisiana to Orlando. At the time we did it, my husband was on a stateside deployment in Alexandria. We stopped at the apartment we were living in so he could drop his stuff off. We stopped in what is now our hometown and finished the drive a couple of days later.

This isnt a hack you still paid the amount it cost. Maybe the title should be I used my Cashback to pay the delta of an annual pass.

I'm having so much fun watching you all enjoy the parks and hotels. I loved WDW as a kid, but I think I enjoyed it even more sometimes as a parent and a grandparent - watching my kids experience the magic while having so much fun myself is indescribably wonderful sometimes. My son and I had passes when he was 9 & 10. We had the BEST day one time when it rained so hard that people were streaming out of the MK as we were arriving around 1:00 - extra slow morning a few days into our trip and we were trying to wait for the rain to let up, but finally said a wet day at Disney is still a great day. It was Pouring when we got there, but eased up after about 30 minutes. Fantasyland and Frontierland were almost empty when we got there - everything was a walk-on for a few hours. It was great and the cast members had time to play - They sang Happy Birthday backwards to him, he got a call from Mickey, and had a toy gun fight with one of the pirates all around the gift shop. Flexibility is key to having a great day, no matter where you are.

I stayed at Grand Floridian once with my teenage daughters and infant son. Coffee on the balcony before they woke up and the day started was priceless. btw My eyes are leaking as I'm watching this. I was a Disney kid from the year they opened when I was seven or eight, but I was only able to take my girls once when they were younger. They were about the same age as these girls ... Too much

You couldn't pay ME $600 to go to Disney parks. 😂 Sticking to Universal, thanks.
