The Lord Our Righteousness | Pastor Tom Norris
Text: Jeremiah 33:14-16.
Theme: Today’s title seems odd. It’s a literal translation of the last few (Hebrew) words in today’s lesson. However, these words hold an utterly amazing hope for those who put their faith in Jesus.

The Peace of God | Pastor Jon Coyne
มุมมอง 18วันที่ผ่านมา
Philippians 4: 4-7 We talk about the peace of God and we want to feel at peace. At the same time, Paul tells us that this peace surpasses all understanding. What then are we to think about God’s peace? What can we understand about God’s peace? As we await the Prince of Peace, how do we share God’s Peace?
Testify to the Truth | Pastor Jon
มุมมอง 20หลายเดือนก่อน
Text: John 18: 33-37 Theme: Jesus makes it clear to Pilate that with all of his power and majesty, Jesus did not come to replace Pilate, to replace Caeser or to be any king of earthly king. Jesus came to testify to the truth. Jesus came to point all of us to God. He does this through his death, life and resurrection. He continued to do this through Word and Sacraments as well as through all of us.
Provoke One Another | Pastor Jon Coyne
มุมมอง 20หลายเดือนก่อน
Text: Hebrews 10: 11-25 Theme: The writer to the Hebrews uses some vivid and startling words to help us understand how our lives have changed in Jesus. When I want people to do good deeds, I rarely think about it as provocation. However, it may be that this is what is really needed. Perfect Love Casts Out Fear | Pastor Tom Norris
Thank you Pastor - always enjoy your sermons. Greetings from Texas
This sermon is worth listening to more than once, or even twice. If today is a day to be uplifted, listen to this one.
It is well with your soul. Accept that and follow him. It really is just that simple and true. If it is hard to accept just ask for help and Jesus is always right there in front of you, just like He was for Peter, sinking briefly in the stormy seas. Thank you, Pastor Norris for this clear and true Message for us all.
This is chock full of imagery and insights. All are very easy to follow and relate to each and every one of us, waking up each morning with full forgiveness, period!
Stop calling your Lutheran CULT a church that’s blasphemy
Jesus is my Savior and Lord of my life! Every day I live by Them! 😊

This was v off and on, and I couldn’t hear the whole sermon. Disappointing. Will listen to prerecorded.
Hi Aletha! Sometimes, we experience lower internet speeds that cause streaming issues. We are working to get that resolved. Hope you are well! - V

This is an almost (just about) unbelievable message. It changes everything at the exact moment of baptism. What an amazingly profound concept, simply, clearly, brilliantly explained by Pastor Norris, in words we can all understand. While deeply terrifying to the core for some, for others not a thing to be afraid of---quite the opposite in fact. This is the essence of the Gospel message. If you listen to one message in 2022, this is the one that will stay with you throughout the year.
Thanks for keeping on line worship. It helps me to feel connected with my Bethany family even though I can’t get to in person worship. Blessings to all of who make this happen. Florence
Hi Florence. We are now live-streaming Sunday in-person services as well. Hope all is well.

Welcome back Pastor! Pastor Tom filled in all the spots extremely well while you were healing. We thank both of you as sincerely as possible and with profound gratitude for the Divine Messages you share and explain for us.
Great sermon. Listening from the shores of Lake Huron
Great service.
Good sermon
Palle Foundation enjoyed the melody.
I'd love to find out from Pastor Tom the specific reasons behind how Paul chose to pair each piece of armor with a specific person, purpose and concept. I get the shoes-----make it up as you go. If you're a missionary, you may put on appropriate gear for the place you're going (or staying). If you're a writer, you may choose a pair of slippers or comfortable socks. As a soldier, you may pull on a pair of boots. The helmet and the belt are perhaps not so difficult either----nowadays we need to be armed to withstand the pernicious intellectual, secular and postmodernist definitions and trends. But the sword is the one that seems hardest to figure out. Is it because it is the only non-passive one (well the shoes aren't strictly passive either)? Or is it that it symbolizes true, precise power that everyone recognizes just by its presence? Or is it a weapon whose use is not limited to its image, but rather enables and requires its user to wield it most effectively and precisely (only) in the context of Truth, Grace, Mercy and Faith and in the ultimate interest of peace? As an amateur in the complex Bible world, I have no idea nor expertise to answer this. It is a question for someone like Pastor Tom or Pastor Jon to answer. Fortunately, we have access to both and like the whole armor, we have the privilege to simply "pick it up".
Thank you for a lovely service
Thank you Pastor Tom, my heart and my faith were strengthened by your sermon. Praise the Lord!
