Ford C-Max (U.S.) Coolant Change

Great video! Getting ready to change the coolant on my daughters 2017 Fusion Hybrid. Where you''re pulling off the hose to drain the engine coolant, is it attached to the thermostat housing? Thinking about changing the thermstat as well and if that's where it's at, looks to be easy enough to get to.

How did u remove the clamp on the hose ? 😂 I don’t get it , I’m grabbing the clamp, squeeze and it does not move. 😅What tool did you use? I’m about the black thing. Ok , I won , no worries 😂 but it was crazy uncomfortable to do. Use wd40 for sure

thanks for the help. I'm pretty sure I accidentally shocked the system with static electricity. I had done the same with a Taurus and an Oldsmobile.
Hoping this works. Dealership tried telling me a couple years ago that the stereo was fried and needed replaced to the tune of $1500. When at that time it was actually a $500 battery that needed replaced, afterwards the stereo worked fine..... until this evening. Odd thing is I can still use the Bluetooth to play music over the car speakers even tho it WON'T do phone calls over the speakers and hasn't for nearly a year

Thank you that worked, but just keeps happening. When it does the car will shut off, but the radio stays on. Even if you push the power button.

Correct. Use distilled water only. You can buy it any grocery store. Mix 50/50 before filling the two reservoirs. Happy wrenching!

You can store it after diluting the “concentrated” coolant with distilled water at 50/50 ratio.

Why not take a 10mm wrench ooen the hood abd disconnect yhe battery and wait 10 minutes amd reinstall terminal instead of monkey around with panels and fuses?
Would this be the same as a 19 fusion hybrid? Im pretty sure I've heard its the same as the cmax

IT WORKS 2023 Well it might be 2 years later .. But i just did it .. and it did not work .. try it 2 times ,, and still no luck .. so i pulled the 7,5 sync fuse ( in place 67th ) and the 79 replaced them both with new one´s and now it works .. THANK :) you savede me a lot of money :) Ford focus 2015 Denmark So to all the ppl it did not work for ...buy 2 new fuses and change them .. :)

So I did this a few times on my 2015 escape. It worked once. I think the amp is shot but it randomly came on worked for a few days then done again
I tried this several times and I even went as far as disconnecting the battery and still nothing.

It is the QuickJack 5000TL. Bought it online through Home Depot (they had the best price). Can't believe how much use I've gotten out of them. Recommend getting the QuickJack wall hangars, and setting them up so the QuickJacks just touch the floor when hanging from the hangars, to minimize load on the wall to which the hangars are attached. Have a good one!
Do you know why then I try to play music on from my phone on the car, when I click ‘BT audio’ to play music when I click it it doesn’t do anything, it was always working until now

ONLY REMEDIES THE PROBLEM FOR A FEW MONTHS. My wife has been dealing with this for a couple years. Latest event, this has happened twice in 3 months (winter in NE Ohio). The problem is with the FCIM (Front Control Interface Module).
