"OPEN" IS ACTUALLY "2-WAY AIRFLOW" AND "CLOSED" IS ACTUALLY "1-WAY AIRFLOW" not "completely open" and "completely sealed" there that's the information this video somehow doesn't convey
I Do dual action until 8 PSI always in the shade, switch over to single action to 16 (my board is 15-18 psi) - Then wait for about 3 minutes while getting all the other gear ready. Then I go back to the board and the pressure will have fallen a bit usually to around 14 psi. then inflate a bit more to 16 psi and get in the water.
Thank you so much! Yup I was making the same mistake. You’ve helped out a lot of us!!!
Amazing!! I was wondering what I was doing wrong and ur a life saver. Thank you!!
Damn it! I actually did this today! Now I know :) #rookiemistake 🤣
Okay but I keep on pumping and then I feel like my heart is going to explode. :-( and yet the gauge is not moving past 10. I hope I get better at this because I would love to have a fully inflated board! 😢😢😢😢😢
My pump is in fact broken. It does not register at all at anytime while pumping up the board.
It really depends on the design of the paddles. For example, iRocker paddles have the spine of the paddle facing forward, I have included link to their official video. If unsure, I think best to simply consult the manufacturer instead of relying on online sources from random people. th-cam.com/video/xnp_nYM1n4E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6cZhQPH905Q0xXY6
I was sure my pressure gauge was broken and sent so far as chasing down the warranty info. Brilliant video.
Thank you. we just got our first SUPs to day and did exactly what you said.. stopped before the pump registered , thinking , wow this SUP is solid.. it has to be full.. we don't want it to blow up.. LOL.. so thank you for this.
I am having trouble with this value. Before I starting inflating, I make sure the valve is up. But... when I remove the pump hose, I loose air immediately. If I tap it quickly, I quit loosing air. It is like it is getting stuck. Is there a lubricant spay or something that will let it pop up to the close position when the pump hose is removed? thank you so much for this video!!
What does the connection look like
How stupid are people omfg????? I realised this the second I opened the valve... it's fcking common sence to explore the thing you buy for any features and surprises...
Thank you for this
Thank you so much for this video ❤
you are heaven sent for this information
only video out of the 5 I watched that mentioned valve open / shut everyone else just grabs the tool to tighten the whole valve. Thanks!!!
Thank you!!!! I pumped up my board THREE times yesterday and the valve was open every time, which hasn’t happened the last five times using my board since buying it. This was so simple and I am so relieved that nothing is wrong with my board :)
I should’ve seen this video yesterday on my first time using the paddle board! I ended up going in the water with a wobbly paddle board 😢
Took my wife about 6mins ti get it to 10psi
This video is underrated! Super helpful. Everything she says was spot on! Listen to this chick
Hi, After use when deflating, is it best to leave the dual action red bung in or out? Many thanks
Покажите, как пальцем спускать сапборд, накаченный до 22 PSI.
Very helpful as a newbie 😊so thanku
Haha thanks, I was about to return my first inflatable board to the shop you avoided me a memorable shame 😀
Lmao !!!! Thank you for this vid!😂
So if I understand right, the valve should be closed while pumping? I'm sooooo confused right now😂😂,
Me too!!
In the ‘closed’ position, it becomes a one way valve
Thanks this helped alot!
Thank you!! I thought my gauge was broken. 😊
😂good lord thank u
Thank you my mom and I have been struggling with it for a while
SWEET THANK YOU!!!
She is wrong , sorry… paddle will flutter in that direction
Thank you, I thought mine was broken 😂😂
This is HORRIBLE! she never gets it right. These inflatables are TERRIBLE!
Thank you immensely for this series of videos. I am considering getting myself a paddleboard but needed further information first. You've helped me understand a lot. Thanks again!
I try unplugging the pump with a closed valve next time... I used to hate the moment when air blows out its so loud
Perfect thankyou and short video which is excellent. 😊
Perfect thankyou and short video which is excellent.
Thank you. I was worried I was going to pop the board so kept stopping thinking my gauge was broke.
Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for this!
So helpful!!!!! Thank you!! ☀️
Thank you. I was already looking for a new pump on Amazon. You saved me $$!
1:14 seconds - is key…
This is EXACTLY what I needed - thank you!
That’s frustrating because I was taught to have the scoop facing forward so you’re not over exerting your energy at the end of your stroke. I’ve tried it both ways and agree with the comments. She’s doing it backwards.
So flat part or siced part
Very helpful, thank you!! I thought the gauge was broken as well and didn’t know what the single, double switch was for. Learned a lot! Thank you!
AMAZING VIDEO THANK YOU QUEEN
