Welcome to my fourth channel, dedicated to animals!
Whether buzzing, crawling, flying, jumping, slithering, swimming or walking, this is my collection of different animals that I have recorded since 2013. I’ve always been fascinated by animals - big and small - and I’ve recorded them whenever that has been possible. Videos include the good, the bad and the ugly of the animal world. Nature isn’t “pretty” most of the time, but I have not censored any of my videos, so make sure you know what you are about to watch - read the title carefully!
So, with that said, enjoy the videos and leave your thoughts in the comments section!
Cameras used for filming:
Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 with Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42 mm lens: April 2013 - February 2014
Panasonic Lumix DMC-G6 with Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42 mm lens: March 2014 - May 2016

More animals that hang around the railways in Andhra Pradesh, India - this time pigs. Pigs in India are not really “domestic” animals in the true sense of the word, because they roam around freely, both in rural and urban environments. Negative connotations of eating pigs due to ideological and socio-cultural reasons means that there are not that many pig farms in the country. Species: Sus dome...

You got the scientific names of the domestic goat and domestic sheep completely wrong, their correct scientific names are actually Capra aegagrus hircus and Ovis gmelini aries respectively.
You got the scientific name of the common blackbird completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Melanornis merula.
You got the scientific names of the mute swan and black swan completely wrong, their correct scientific names are actually Olor olor and Chenopis atratus respectively.
You got the scientific name of the hooded crow completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Necrophagus cornix.
You got the scientific name of the european adder completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Pelias berus.
It is actually known by both scientific names, but Vipera berus is the more common one.
Actually, it's now Pelias berus since the genus Vipera is polyphyletic.
You got the scientific name of the domestic pig completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Sus scrofa domesticus.
You got the scientific name of the alpaca completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Vicugna pacos.
You got the scientific name of the brown hare completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Eulagus europaeus.
That's specifically a ring-necked pheasant (Phasianus torquatus), Phasianus colchicus is the scientific name of a separate species being the black-necked pheasant.
Nice 👍
Thanks
@@animalbug you're welcome 🤗
How one can know that this is raptor or ordainary Kite as it is gliding like Kite unless it dives to attack on it's prey.
Kites are members of the raptor family as well - raptor = bird of prey.
All living things have a purpose we just don't understand all of them.

You should know that pheasants are defined by the subfamily Phasianinae with only thirty-two extant species under fourteen genera not by Phasianus colchicus, which is specifically called the black-necked pheasant, this is a ring-necked pheasant (Phasianus torquatus), which is now widely treated as a separate species from the black-necked pheasant.
Thanks for this info. Phasianus torquatus is not yet officially acknowledged as a separate species, but I will keep an eye on this development.
@animalbug, recent studies now show that black-breasted, black-necked, and ring-necked pheasants are now three separate polytypic species that are now believed to be only distantly related to each other and one of them being more closely related to the green pheasant (Phasianus versicolor) than any of the three are to each other, which would therefore make Phasianus colchicus paraphyletic, it is known that the ring-necked pheasant (Phasianus torquatus), which also has presences in both Hainan and Taiwan is the closest living relative of the green pheasant, with the black-necked pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) being the sister species to the clade that contains the ring-necked pheasant and green pheasant and the black-breasted pheasant (Phasianus elegans) as the most basal and distantly related from all the other species, unlike the green pheasant that has only three extant subspecies, the other three species of the genus Phasianus, where its members are called "common pheasants" have large numbers of extant subspecies, the black-breasted pheasant (Phasianus elegans) has six subspecies under two subspecies groups: the Phasianus elegans elegans group that contains the Rothschild's Black-Breasted Pheasant (Phasianus elegans rothschildi), the Stone's Black-Breasted Pheasant (Phasianus elegans elegans), and the Qinghai Black-Breasted Pheasant (Phasianus elegans vlangallii) and the Phasianus elegans principalis group that contains the White-Winged Black-Breasted Pheasant (Phasianus elegans chrysomelas), the Bianchi's Black-Breasted Pheasant (Phasianus elegans bianchii), and the Prince of Wales's Black-Breasted Pheasant (Phasianus elegans principalis), the black-necked pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) has twelve subspecies under three subspecies groups: the Phasianus colchicus decollatus group that contains the Kweichow Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus decollatus) and the Sungpan Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus suehschanensis), the Phasianus colchicus tarimensis group that contains the Satchu Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus satscheuensis), the Gangdisi Shan Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus gangdisishanensis), the Tarim Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus tarimensis), and the Yarkand Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus shawii), and the Phasianus colchicus colchicus group that contains the Amu-Darya Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus zarudnyi), the Persian Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus persicus), the Talisch Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus talischensis), the Caucasian Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus colchicus), the Turkish Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus turcicus), and the Caspian Black-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus septentrionalis), and the ring-necked pheasant (Phasianus torquatus) has eighteen subspecies under five subspecies groups: the Phasianus torquatus sohokhotensis group that contains the Strauch's Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus strauchi), the Sohokhoto Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torqautus sohokhotensis), and the Alashan Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus alashanicus), the Phasianus torquatus torqautus group that contains the Tonkinese Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus takatsukasae), the Shandong Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus shandongensis), the Sichuan Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus torquatus), the Hainan Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus hainanus), and the Formosan Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus formosanus), the Phasianus torquatus karpowi group that contains the Shansi Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torqautus kiangsuensis), the Mandarin Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus liaoningensis), the Manchurian Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus pallasi), and the Korean Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus karpowi), the Phasianus torqautus hagenbecki group that contains the Kobdo Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torqautus hagenbecki) and the Ruo Shui Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus edzinensis), and the Phasianus torquatus mongolicus group that contains the Mongolian Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus mongolicus), the Zerafshan Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torqautus zerafschanicus), the Syr-Darya Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torqautus turcestanicus), and the Aral Ring-Necked Pheasant (Phasianus torquatus bergii).
