I have a 2023 f150 with factory CarPlay and seems like 3-5 times a month where I have the connectivity issues. From what I used to hear it was more than likely the phone that’s the source of the issue. Vehicle Bluetooth is was more solid from what I’ve been told. I could have been told wrong lol

I have a solution for when your bluetooth is giving trouble connecting. click the app you use to connect to Apple carplay, i think it is something link or easy connect then try to connect, it wont connect then exit the app, open the app again and now it will connect, another thing that works is go to carplay from your phone, click on the carlink from your phone and that works every time

Never buy from Carsoll, no response customer service when attempting to troubleshoot issues. There is no way on this radio to reset the Oil Change Required. The lack of response until contemplating a lawsuit to try get a response is painful. Save yourself the pain of realizing you made a mistake.

I was told to implement its own symm card for connection issues. But Ive had speratic reception issues on radio and a couple times while backing the camera image froze and a moment later unfroze. The front camera image is not that sharp. My gps camera is better and records

Still struggling on why radio sounds different when original hardware is retained. Video rendering is not as sharp as original as well. Plus keeping it connected is a chore one second pandora is on the next its off. Very nice but it has some issues

Shit!! All of the cons you named i have those same issues on my 22 navigator.. sometimes hotspot randomly disconnects, sometimes Bluetooth won't connect or will disconnect while on a call... been back to the dealer a dozen times for it... im over it😩

Ok, you have the 6 buttons on top, but that carol radio looks to only have 5 buttons. Did you lose some functionality?

I dont like the tesla screens even if u got wireless carplay,and built in gsm card slot.honestly the quality is not there plus the quality in sound is shitty.eventually it will fail id rather stick with stinger or alpine head units.
